Description

Uemura Takitarou is a Genius Cosplayer who can change himself from head to toe. One day, he finds his only friend, Asami Kusaka, killed by the Night Blindness Man, a serial murderer who gouges out the eyes of his victims. Tominaga Hana, a model, discovers his talent and recruits him for the company, UC, an office that solves mysteries and crimes by manipulating rumors/urban legends. Can Uemura track down the person who killed Kusaka?

It's like what others said, it's a combination of horror, psychological (I think), mystery, supernatural and tragedy. Mostly because it doesn't seem to have main plot--as of now--but a collection of stories in the day-to-day lives of the people in the Rumor Shop.
I'd like to give props to the people who made this manga for pulling off one of the more original ideas ever. Imagine cosplay as a tool for bringing justice--or a form of it at least--and people regulating urban legends to catch criminals on the lam.

Gothic, funny and mysterious..
Just what I like ^^
a bit scary but its ok, there is no main plot right now.. (gonnna keep reading..) but its still interesting 
There aren't many super naturals more like special talents, though there ARE some supernatural talents ;)
I like the Gothic spirit witch is creepy but not too scary and the main character is cool!
I don't understand what Mauve said because the characters are introduced just fine and more is known about them as the plot continues..
And you can't say a manga is bad by reading just 1 or 2 chapters and since inly 3 chapters are scanlated right now we just gonaa wait and see ^^

I really cannot understand what Mauve (below) said in his comment... Uwasaya is not all that bad. I mean, it has substance and it worked, unlike a lot of other mangas which are too sloppy I can't stand it.
I liked the main character''s and his friend Kusaka friendship. Although it's really brief, their friendship is real. And she's cute too. Too bad for her.
And about people being shallow and superficial, yeah, Uemura-kun's right. I can agree with him. His solution to the situation is to cosplay, which is pretty neat. Cosplay is awesome if pulled correctly, you see.
I'm looking forward to how things progress from here. Thank you iskultrip Scans for the releases!

Strange. Sudden. Meaningless.
Three simple words to describe the plot and character introduction. At some points it's as if a hammer was taken to the plot or character, the rest of a time they simply don't exist. |
