Pretty good manga, maybe I would have liked a little more gore and action, but not bad...
BTW anyone saw Contagion, I think that maybe the writer of the movie is a "Emerging" manga fan bigrazz

There are quite a few characters but the writing is heavily focused on developing the horror. If there is any characterisation, it is often used for pushing forth the plot and for developing the tension. Still, the characterisation, light as it may be, is quite consistent 'cos the people don't start changing at a whim and they behave according to their amount of knowledge. Also, a la seinen, there's a very light touch of politics and some criticism of the government.

I liked the horror aspects and it was quite creepy seeing people explode all over the place. bigrazz The tension and horror, btw, was slowly developed and there is little shock entertainment. Instead, there's a heavy emphasis on medical and scientific elements(though I'm unsure how accurate they're) and the disturbing results from the viral effects and human reactions.

As for the ending, it wasn't that great 'cos there're ways to build more suspense instead of relying too much on drama. But ah well, it was fun reading and I suspect the manga had a rushed ending.

People who prefer lots of shock value, sudden conclusions, plenty of gore, faster pacing, etc. should stay away from this title.

the plot at first seemed interesting... but sadly the mangaka couldn't do his own story any justice. None of the characters were memorable and the ending had the most forced conclusion of any completed story I've read to date. honestly just pass this by don't think about it even a second more.

If you are expecting suspense by reading this manga, there isn't any.. save yourself and read many other better suspense/horror related mangas such as Bloody Monday

It is more like a manual on how to fight an epidemic disease.. The story is flat with no twists..wrapped in a boring storyline.

There is no plot, no deaths, no conspiracy.. no interesting characters, no character development..
Even the ending is so fake, shoujo manga artists would be shy away from it.

The story feels like a message to Japan that they need BL4; it is more like a moral story than a suspense manga.

seems like an interesting manga, might hold conspiracy story ideas as in pharmaceutic company creating new disease then selling the only cure or something done by the government, anyway, need to wait for more chapters before deciding if its good or not.

It's about time to see the parasitic humans dying of their own fucking diseases. This manga predicts the future. Viral and other bioweapons are in the hands of major powers and will be used in our World shortly.
