Description
From Random Scanlations: Yongbi is a bounty hunter without fear or reproach. Especially without fear, actually. Despite his greed and his penchant for drinking (fortunately shared by his faithful horse) and women, Yongbi is still a charming young man. And when a boy carrying a medallion, source of much envy, finds himself under the protection of the adventurer, those who cross their path must prepare for the worst!
This one is a fair wuxia manhwa. The drawing is clean and good. The story is engaging, especially when we read multiple chapter at once. And, the fighting sequence is well rehearsed, if rehearse is the right word to use. For common wuxia stories, Yongbi perhaps trumps them all.
If there is any shortcoming, maybe, the characters tend to underestimate their enemies. Not that it is a fatal flaw since any other wuxia I know has that problem too. But truthfuly, I get bored if the martial artist need to be injured first before (s)he get serious.
Anyway, if I have to have a say about Yongbi in single sentence, it would be, "Recommended for anyone who hasn't read innumerable titles of wuxia stuff."
Epic manwa ever. I used to lived in Vietnam, and publisher in Vietnam translated the whole thing already. So I read the whole manwa, and it stuck in my head for more than 6 years already.
The Manwa is comedic, the story goes deeper and deeper later. I can't give it a lower rating than 10.
The art is certainly a little dated, but it's not bad by any means. The story itself is pretty comedic so far with some nice action scenes, and Yongbi is pretty entertaining to watch with all of his nonsense. I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops. My only fears are the ending will be terrible or the scanlations will stop, but even still, I don't regret reading what I have so far.
I tell you guys this, it's really a big pity if you don't read this manhwa. It's full of humorous and adventurous plots. And the drawing of fighting is awesome, let alone the thrilling, mysterious and moving details. Read it and you'll see why I love this manhwa so much.
