Description
It's about a girl named Hatsune with a "bad mouth", for lack of a better description. She's kind-hearted, but her mouth spews the total opposite of what she means (which is probably due to the fact that she grew up with only male influence). And so she is seen as an arrogant, vulgar girl at her school, but all she wants is a girl friend. Well, that is, until she gets accepted at the Maidens' Club, where she meets a guy named Kirie, with a somewhat unique habit that happens when a girl comes within a foot of him. And everyone says he's gay, even Hatsune. How will these two fare? Will Hatsune have a boyfriend at last? Will he be more than just a friend?

Let's make this clear. We all know he's not gay. Now moving along, the relationship is pretty cute. Hatsune is kind of funny, but I'm pretty satisfied that she had a bad mouth. A girl who smiles and looks utterly gorgeous saying,"Hello, shitty bitches." is always hysterical. Kind of predictable, the only reason I read this is because the (not) gay guy looks like Kei from Special A.
Overall, pretty average and interesting read. |

oh well! hahaha. it really made it humorous, i was laughing a lot. (hahaha! her germany calls!) good combination of fluff romance and hilarious moments. and the characters were wonderful and impressionable.
and yeah, it could have been longer.. but what needed to get done got done. lol. i wonder if it was longer if we would get to see more of hisa.. chan.. hehe.. and how.. she.. interrupts~ that would be fun. i also would like to know more about.. her ;P

This manga is very interesting to read even though it's only one volume. At first, when i finished this, i didn't know that this only had one volume and i was originally planning on trying it out. I particularly liked how Hatsune bads-mouthed. Since i'm a guy, i would have give this an 8 instead of a 7 because 95% of the manga, the main guy is gay. Overall, it was enjoyable.

You're my Girlfriend was a very interesting story! I liked it very much.
I liked how Hatsune had that weird habit of being rude to people, even when she didn't mean to. It was cute.
Another thing that was nice about the story was it had a kind of a moral-teaching thinger where it was kind of saying "just be who you are, and true friends will accept you as you are" and or "don't be rude or mean to people or you won't make many friends".
I highly recommend this. It truly deserves a ten out of ten.

Hatsune is an interesting character - saying exactly what she doesn't mean. Kirie is a doll - seeing through her and putting up with it all. It's a fun read overall.

This was a really hilarious and lighthearted manga of Minami Maki that I really enjoyed all throughout reading it. Although it was only one volume, it still showed how funny the mangaka can be. She is one of my favorites and this oneshot makes me happy for her work which I hope continues in the future ^_^
Plus, she made this oneshot while working on another series

i love this manga and the art but it's too short. i want more.. but it's ok because maki-sama have made another manga!!.i'm also reading her new manga right now. hehehe.

i'm the type that when a see a short oneshot/manga etc. i get doubtful. about whether the manga will be nice, interesting story line etc, that kind of thing. BUT
this manga made me go wow! this manga may be short but the story line is interesting and it fits the number of chapters ^^ not like some which are ridiculesly long or so short the the plot can't develop..... |

Though a girl living in a home which is dominated mostly by male siblings shouldn't be a cause for her to have a habit of bad mouthing other people, and instead just be tomboyish on her behavior, that's how this story goes and it was interesting.
If everything she intended to say goes out quite the opposite, would it mean that if ever she gives a compliment, it would mean that she was in fact giving an insult?
Of course, we often suspend our disbelief every time we read fiction and this certainly provides an avenue to let imagination go free and be entertained out of any possibility.

To my memory, I have never liked the main girl character in shoujo mangas. But this manga, it's different. I really like Hatsune, her mouth is just so bad-ass. And unlike other shoujo characters who go all whimpery and soft to the guy's moves, Hatsune just retaliates with nasty words (even though she didn't mean them). And, just because of that, this manga gets a high rating. XD
