I don't have high expectations whenever I read a shoujo manga. I've read a thousands already and I'm so sick of the stereotypical patterns. But when I've read this manga I've fell in love with the first chapter already. The female lead is very likeable and straight forward. I also like how the male lead is not all so perfect and bad at sports that is why she became attracted to the heroine. There isn't any too much drama and I like the pacing of the story.
I'm just sad that this doesn't have more chapters translated because this was a very nice surprise of a comic. A very likable female main character and a not-quite-as-likeable male character means there's some very nice moments as their relationship progresses. Oh and there's actual progression past the confession as well, I do recommend.
The premise is interesting, and the story itself has great potential.
Both leads are likeable and I can't help but get invested. I haven't met a female lead quite like Hayate in a while, and the art is pretty decent and looks to be getting better by the chapter. I thought the male lead would end up boring me but he's actually pretty sly and after only seven pages in, I'm already hooked on both characters. Yuuto (male lead) is adorable in his own way xD
Hayate (female lead) is pretty hilarious and amazing in her own right. She doesn't react the way I expect her to, which is an absolute breath of fresh air in a long long loooong time.
