Description
From Aerandria Scans: When Lys was born, her heart did not beat at all. To save her, her mother made a contract with a devil: Lys can borrow his heart until the day she turns sixteen, but after that, he will eat her body. Together with her companion, Siva, someone whom she met by chance in the desert at night, she travels around as a dancer girl to find the devil who sealed her fate. One day, while they were traveling, they suddenly meet an egoistic prince and a ring spirit...

The art was stunning - as expected of Hibiki Wataru. The story was quite on the cliche side at first, and I didn't expect too much from it except for the nice art.
But, the ending was really touching, and it shows how strong love can really be. I was at lost for words when I finished reading it. Chapter 8&9 just really changed my mind - and was by far the best chapters.
The early chapters tend to give you the wrong idea though.

I enjoyed the art and was more than happy that the story was good and that the writer knew when to end it. It's always sad when stories are dragged on FOREVER and the reader gets bored. This was not the case, a good read.

Really Recommended read! Like a lot of others, I hesitated to read it, but am SO glad that I did. I mean... the plot is really good (for something with 2 volumes and 8 chapters *o*) and it wasn't boringly cliche, I'm fine with cliche... just when it makes the whole manga predictable. The ending was quite beautiful too XD but I wash I could see a Siva/Lys child *drools*
Art: Beautiful♥
Story: Great
Length: Reasonable (I kinda wish it had an extra volume.)
Characters: Nice for the Serie's length.
Romance: Sweet and Pure
Overall: Stop reading this comment and start reading this wonderful book. |

| I cried four times while reading this romantic and tragic tale. This story really took my breath away. At first I was not into the story but after reading past chapter one this manga really blossomed. Wow!! the main male lead Siva made me cry for his sorrow over Lys. The author did a great job with this story and leaves readers with a sense of happiness. |

Happy endings are always nice. The art was fanatastic however the clothes Lys wore left nothing to the imagination. I wonder how she didn't get raped by Siva by wearing a bra like thing with a tini piece of cloth around her waist.
Moving on, I'm very glad everything worked out. Prince Russet was such a sweetheart. Oh, and for a crack pairing, the genie in the ring and Fatima? Anyways, I thought it was ironic that the devils showed more humanity than the humans. It shows that humans can also be devils deep inside their heart. |

Spoiler (highlight to view) THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST ROMANCE MANGAS EVER -- AND I MEAN OUT OF ALL MANGAS SHORT OR LONG.
I totally love Siva (bishie+high-class devil=drool) and Lys is so pretty. I love the story tension that Siva has to carry all the time that Lys didn't know that he was her devil.
Its so cute and the romance doesn't grow like mountain tops, instead they show their true love at the fight and at the very ending.
Although it is too bad that such a good manga had to finish, im quite happy that it has because they end up together and if it had continued, there would be more trouble for Lys and Siva and i really just want them two to be together.
A must read story about a sweet love life of a young girl in search of her "very very very" close devil who gave her his heart.

Spoiler (highlight to view) it's rare to see a shoujo manga take place in a desert ( Aside from Basara and Kanata Kara)
This is so good, great and sweet. The artwork, well, maybe similar to Vampire Knight but hey, don't you agree? Bishies and more bishies, even the side character are bishis ( Maalouf ) xD
I just simply love it! Seriously, a guy protect/ raise a girl to be his bride <-- don't you love it? I do :D
I love every cute moment between Siva and Lyss and when Siva rescue Lys oh god. Please have mercy in me. I can't stop running around pretending I'm Lys being rescue and hugged by Siva xD
On the contrary, the storyline, plot everything is great but I wished for more actually. I don't like the ending.. I want to see they have kids (argh!) and not satisfied enough, this should be longer actually. Of course we want to see Siva right? Drop dead gorgeous. And Lys not your simply naive shoujo heroine :D She have funny side actually xD
Why I'm giving 10/10?
1. Oh, Siva is drop dead gorgeous xD xD
2. They are lot of sweet moment between Lys and Siva that seems like they are married couple
3. The artwork <-- similar to Vampire Knight ( Like the eye but, well, don't bothered )
4. The storyline and the romance ( yummy )
5. Because I love "Girl raised to be a bride / Overprotective Guy" type x) nuff. said

i really love this one!! it seems that arabian nights stories really has a special place in my heart...its just so beautiful...everything!!! especially the art...its so very beautiful...everyone is just so bishilicous!!!
as for the plot...hmmmm...the starting of idea is pretty...already common...but the way that its is told sets it apart from the rest...their adventures and the damsel in distress thing is really nice...the ending was a but unexpected and it was unpredicted...
overall its a really nice story!!!

AMAZING simply amazing, i never usually comment on mangas but seirously this one is a definite must read. It is the best most amazing and touching, manga ive read in a long time. At the end, i cried soooo much cos i was so happy >_< like it was soo touching im crying my ass of at the moment, so seroiusly, read this. The characters are drawn beatifully and the storyline is wonderful. This manga seirously will be one that i would remmeber for a long long time. mann the ending was sooo touching T_T

At first I really was sceptical about this mangas. The reason was that, for me, a mangas with just 2 volumes wouldn't have a good plot and developed characters. But I must say that I was wrong, in these two volumes I get all what someone could expect from a shoujo and romantic mangas even better than some mangas that have unreasonable number of volumes, pages and pages of random plot, and top of that a crappy end!
So defenitly Im recommanding this one. So go and give it a try you won't regret it
