Description

"There once was a girl with a splendid flower blooming upon her chest."

When Lys was born, her heart did not beat at all. To save her, her mother made a contract with a devil: Lys can borrow his heart until the day she turns sixteen, but after that, he will eat her body. Together with her companion, Siva, someone whom she met by chance in the desert at night, she travels around as a dancer girl to find the devil who sealed her fate. One day, while they were traveling, they suddenly meet an egoistic prince and a ring spirit...

It was a very nice read. I enjoyed reading it. The plot may be slightly cliche, but I guess it had its own unique flair to it. It brought a new meaning to "I will give you my heart, so please take it." Siva was an interesting character (and a good-looking one) and the girl was okay. Lys wanted to be fair and return a huge favor back to Siva and I really like that kind of personality trait. It's admirable. I have to say....this manga is quite good for a typical shoujo manga. The ending was really great, I liked the ending.

It was pretty nice of that demon to give her own child's heart to Lys
The only thing I didn't like about this manga is its length (two volumes only?) This manga is overall good and I would recommend this anyone who wants a good and short read.

This is BY FAR my favorite manga ever! I've read it repeatedly and it's never lost its touch for me. smile I simply adore the Arabian-desert-esque setting of the manga. It's beautifully detailed and most importantly, it's different since practically the majority of shoujos are set in school. I really loved the tattoo marks the characters had, as well as their clothes!

Lys was decent - not your typical shoujo lead. She tries to be strong, but obviously she's physically unable to protect herself too much. Siva was pretty much your ideal shoujo male lead!

It started out as a typical fluffy romance, but halfway through, it becomes much more serious. The best part about the manga is the plot twist near the end! It was unexpected, but it also made sense smile none of that unrealistically cheesy happy endings! I only wished that their romance was a bit more conclusive, but definitely check this out! Her other mangas are equally as awesome!!

This is an okay read. The plot and characters are just kind of middling; they aren't amazing but aren't terrible. The art is very pretty except for

the main guy's "demon" form. Honestly, it looked a little too silly and bishounen-y, but that's my personal opinion.


Overall I think this manga suffers from being shorter than it should be. The relationship between the two main characters is already established by the first chapter, so you get the feeling that you're jumping into a story that's already nearly over.

Though I prefer an unhappy ending. Haha since I'm a tragedy-lover.
And a happy ending for story like this, especially like this one had done, is just too mainstream for me


The artwork is good, but not that special. Standard for shoujo's-good-artwork.

What beautiful art! What a beautiful little fairy tale that kept me on the edge. The length of two volumes was perfect and the ending -- what a twist. I recommend this short little tale if you want your heart to beat from suspense and the shimmering love that unfolds.

It suits it so my much its like one of those manga , I think it deserved to be animated , there was just so much imagination I loved it , best manga I've read in a while although I absolutely hate short mangas this was alright smile its Like a little Disney fairy tail:buut on the bad side its been 2days and I've completely forgotten what happened

i loved this manga! it was different than most shoujos and the art is amazing. i'm not gonna say its a MUST READ since just because it floated my boat, that doesn't mean someone else would like it but i'd definitely recommend it to people looking for a short shoujo with beautiful art and a unique plot

The only good thing about this manga is the art. The art is simply beautiful. But other than the art, there really is nothing special or interesting about this manga. The story is mediocre, as are the characters. And the ending is just a failed attempt. The characters are transparent; they have absolutely no depth andthe chemistry between the characters, well...it's just a typical shoujo. Truth be told, if it had not been for the art and the fact that this manga was only two volumes, I would have never finished this manga.

Although I didn't expect much from the manga....once I finished reading, I can honestly say that I was in tears.....Really BEAUTIFUL Story.

I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this to people that aren't looking just for a cliche story.
