Description
From DMP: Hikaru, a second year high school student, is obsessed with Shima, a male teacher. Surprisingly, Shima is not averse to the boy's affections. He even convinces Hikaru to study hard so that when he graduates, they would openly become lovers. However, Amamiya, an ex-lover of Shima, steps into the picture and tries to win him back. Will Hikaru and Shima's passion prove great enough to hurdle all the obstacles stacked against them?
Im a fan of fluffy and slow romance so I love it. The uke is cold outside but he is deeply in love with the seme and the seme is head over heels for him. Their love rivals actually are not as annoying as other manga. The art is pretty too.
First of all, let me say I am in love with Takaku-sensei. <33 Her art is breathtaking. That said, I dont really feel for the story. I cant blame her since it's not her story-- there is just no depth at all, it feels shallow and underdeveloped.
That said, the art is so darn gorgeous. Do check out other manga/stories written by Takaku-sensei.
It's cute and sweet, albeit cliched. The art is really nice- Shima is a reallllly pretty guy, haha, and Hikaru is good-looking, too! But... Hikaru sort of reminds me of my cousin (he's really earnest and honest) so it was a bit disconcerting lol, but overall, it was a nice story.
...........is what I think. I'm surprised that their love rivals is not forceful kind of characters, unlike the normal yaoi manga where some of their rivals could be really forceful and cruel to get the person to like them. But I think this way is much more better, plus they have happy endings! The story is very warm and fluffy after all :3
I have tried over and over to get in to this story because it has good ratings, but I find it so boring. I have only ever managed to get through volume one. Maybe it's because studentXteacher relationships aren't really my thing, but I have read other manga with that theme and a really good story will get me anyway. Maybe this picks up after volume one? I'm not really sure. I really do like simple, quiet stories, so it's not that there's not enough drama. It was just flat for me. I think I was put off starting from the very first scene, which is a rape. Not only a rape, but a completely monotone rape without any kind of heavy emotion. I don't really get what I'm missing here.
OMG This manga is so cute! I love how Hikaru is so in love with is teacher that's juste so cute. I wish that Shima would be more competitive but well it's not is personality and I kind of understand him because I'm a bit like him ..Well anyway good manga I strongly recommend it : )
waaa, it was so sweet that I felt like I was biting a big piece of chocolate during reading it!! >_< it started a little odd and slow but after a bit angst and troubles, the bitter sweet feelings of love turned into the most sweetest things ever. not bad for a light read and a happy ending is guaranteed but I doubt any one will remember it after a week.
uwahhh so sweet...i love how the mangaka is able to portray the guys in a sweet use ummmm forcefull kinda way...lol. this is a highly recommended manga >.<
I just love Hikaru. Shima...feel like slapping him in a few occasions but his lack of confident is some what make him sweet in a way. Again, I just love Hikaru. So very gentle and sweet story.
it was sweet but i kinda felt that Hikaru loved shima more than shima loved him. in the past Shima gave up on his first love, and he gave up on Hikaru until he went to look for him, and then Shima was ready to dump Hikaru agian! i would have liked to see Shima fight for Hikaru, and be more honest about his feelings and not so willing to dump him. he even thinks that Hikaru might one day meet a woman, almost as if its expecting their relationship to fail which is depressing. but i have to say Shima is one of the prettiest guys i've seen in a long time, the artist for this story has amazing skill...
