Description
From June:
Actor Makoto Aizawa’s star has begun to rise, attracting the attention of Jounouchi-sensei’s rival director, Taizou Oouchi. When offered a lead part in Oouchi-sensei’s new musical, how can Aizawa turn it down? Maybe the fact that he can’t sing a note should factor-in to his decision? Or perhaps Jounouchi and Oouchi’s relationship as bitter adversaries ought to cause Aizawa to steer clear? At the end of the day, is it Aizawa’s talent that’s motivated Oouchi-sensei to offer him such a plum role, or does the director have other sinister motives?

i'd call it "believably dull" instead, *wry grin*. i think i'm gonna stop reading fujii's work because it never ever touches me, and while her art has gotten better over the years, it's not good enough to make me sit through more of the thin stories. if at least the sex were hot, but it isn't.

I'm going to have to agree with ZeroNine's two word review. Both this and the prequel were pretty much plotless, with paper thin characterization. I found it tired, predictable and boring.

actually i disagree with the other reviewer. i think in the sequel Makoto grew more as a character, in this one we see him do more on his own and grow more as a person and as an actor. Although there was still a lot of sex, it was less than the first one. it was cute over all, and i liked it, maybe even better than the first book.

Unbelievably dull.

It may be unsportsmanlike of me to give this review that much of an effort, but that's as much effort Fuji seemed to have made for this sequel as well as the prequel. It's a waste of time, space, money, and trees all round.
