Description

Rakudai Ninja Rantarou is about a boy who wishes to become a chou-ichiryou-ninja (aka, the number one ninja). There is only one problem: he keeps failing. Together with his friends, they encounter mishap after mishap as they seek to eventually graduate from the first grade.

LoL at pxhai Makes me the 4th one then XD. Of course not many people would write comment for this series since only 7 chapters have been released on the internet and that was nearly 7 years ago. Not to mention it isn't licensed in other countries (excluding Vietnam). This is a great gag manga that makes me laugh like crazy, not even Gintama can do that (but hey, Gintama is also very interesting). The Vietnamese translation isn't the most accurate but it conveys the content of this manga so well. Those kids at the ninja school are so cute and hilarious. I want to hug them all. Even the enemies are funny. I'd strongly recommend this manga for anyone who wants a good laugh. I agree with daiphongdao that the later volumes aren't as interesting as the early ones hence my rating. I gave it a 9.

This series is similar to the type like Doraemon, the story goes on and goes on, to the point you wonder if it's slice of life. Yet every single chapter is filled with great humor and very enjoyable. Strongly recommend for relaxing your mind.

This was a very interesting comedy in the early volumes, but as the series goes on, its quality went down. But I really love the beginning. Not many series can make me laugh as hard as this one. ... Last updated on October 12th, 2008, 10:07am
