I feel like this would make a great film adaptation if it just had a few tweakings to the story. A compelling tale of a dying father with nothing to live for except for justice for his murdered daughter.
It was good, if not a little bit ridiculous towards the end. Still, refreshing to read sincere manga stories like this as they are rarer.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I was going to rate it higher, but the ending just really was a let down. After all that talk about spending the rest of his life to find the killer, he didn't die. I thought it was rather anticlimactic to build up so much suspense and tragedy just to have it end happily ever after. Other than that it was very unique and carried through very artfully.

Chan-wook Park made a revenge movie out of old boy, it was a great movie, but he changed the story, thank god, the manga was horrible, but THIS, why didn't he make a movie to this? It would be perfect.

An exciting detective drama

New information puts a father on the trail of what happened to his daughter, who went missing 14 years ago.

The manga was a really good drama and I would recommend it to anyone -- it is fast paced and a quick read.

This is more of a straightforward detective story. The emotional plot focuses on the fathers feeling of regret in neglecting his daughter. The use of the deadline feels a bit contrived even though the series is relatively short, but it was an exciting manga so I rate it highly.

Very dramatic series, read it and be amazed. Recommended if you like themes of redemption, guilt and suspense. Its just 2.5 volumes (the last volume is just 120 pages long), so it wont take a long time.

Many thanks to kotonoha and hox for the wonderful work! smile
