It's a good time waster. The cast is bland. You couldn't pick the MC out of a lineup, but he's nice enough. The sister is only slightly more fleshed out. You get a bit more of a feeling for her relationships with other people, but still pretty shallow. The rest of the cast is pretty bland, there were some parts where people behaved in unbelievable ways (mostly when the plot requires them to do something to either push the MC and his sister together -- or drive them apart.) Still, by and large the cast was "OK." Bland, but basically likeable.
The art is good. One thing to note is that while the art may not be ecchi per se (no panty shots, no boob shots, none of the usual signs of ecchi) it is somewhat ecchi-like. Noel has a conspicuously consistent habit of picking out skippy clothes, the women are all curvacious, ect.
The plot... what is there to say? As might be expected, the romance goes in circles and takes forever to get anywhere. There's not much drama, however. There isn't a new love rival popping up every ten seconds (there are one or two, but not so many it got annoying), there's no big dramas, in fact for a lot of the manga nothing much happens at all. This is the definition of slice of life.
It's a slow romance manga with nice art and low key drama. I guess whether you like this manga will boil down to whether you like that kind of thing (and whether you mind the pseudo-incest and age gap of course. 🤣 ) Me? I love this sort of thing, so I'll give it an 7.5. Maybe that's high, but what can I say? I enjoyed reading it.
Hopefully the scanlation will one day be continued!
Oh, and one side note. The mangaka is beyond annoying. I actually dinged the manga 0.5 points off my rating because of how annoying he is. His omake's are like nails on chalkboard. For one, he's apparently a huge bible thumper. In one omake he claims the reader shouldn't study philosophy because the bible has all the guidance you'll ever need (??). He comes off as really smug which I found very off putting.
