Description
While searching behind his desk drawer, Rin finds a hand drawn map of his neighborhood with a big X marking a specific spot. He doesn't recognize it, because he must have drawn it a long time ago, but he's curious to see what he marked with that X. Three childhood friends join him, and they discover an abandoned chest of drawers at the X location. Wondering if there might be something inside, Rin pulls open the drawers and unknowingly unleashes a horrific chain of events...

I read this manga because I liked this author's art; all the other stories from her were either shoujo or yaoi, so I thought I'd be fine with this one, since it was also tagged under shoujo. I assumed that meant there was slight horror in it... imagine my surprise and shock. Since I am easily scared (and since it is 2 am in the morning), I'd have to say that, for a horror, this is pretty... horrifying.

I love its twist and turns and really makes you wonder what the truth is in the manga. But it wasn't that creepy...nothing shocked me I guess. Still loved it and the art is also pretty good.

The amount of creepiness depends on the reader, I suppose. Hiki kinda gave me the goosebumps-and-chills sort of feel, but not really nightmare inducing. I don't often read horror manga as most are kinda boring, cliché, or the horror doesn't really transfer well in comic form... but I enjoyed Hiki and look forward to the next chapter. I hope another group picks it up soon so I can see what happens next.

Don't read this at night! .... and people's arms don't move that way!
This is a really creepy story, but I want to know what happens next... as long as it's still light out.

Right, I finished it, and I still hold on to my belief that you read this in the MORNING. In a room with NO DRAWERS. Also, if you have long black hair... and are easily creeped out... Just don't read it. It's not worth it, wait until you are better with horror. Of course, if you were easily creeped out, you wouldn't be reading this...

This was good. I hate the endings to all horrors, (they have to be horrifying, obviously, but I keep hoping they wont be) but this wasn't that bad... On the last page, remember that his dad had really light hair.
