I find it kind of hard to judge this one. On the one hand, it's a decent, if unoriginal little romance title. There's nothing off kilter or wrong with it, per say. The problem is, however, that everything in it is fairly average, from the plot, to the characters, to the artwork. It's not bad, mind you - nothing in it is offensive - but nothing really stands out either.
Except for one thing.
What it does do a good job of, is leaving quite a bit of the plot unresolved and open for interpretation. If you're the type that likes to have everything neatly tied up, without any loose ends, I'd suggest staying away from this. Like the movie "Ronin", there's a very big question left unanswered at the end; but like "Ronin", one could say that it doesn't really affect the outcome of the story either, and that part of the charm is that we don't know everything, and are left to wonder for ourselves.
While more chapters could have been used to delve deeper into the story, I think it works pretty effectively for the short length it is, and I'm not sure if I would really want more than what we're given. For this reason, I'm giving it a slightly higher score than I would have normally. I like the fact that not everything is explained, and combining that with the entertaining, if cliched storyline, means it's a pleasant way to spend the 15 minutes or so that it should take you to read through it.
