Different but still good by ajmanga on November 29th, 2009, 4:26pm

I like Chobits but would not compare the two series, which are both good in different ways. For one thing, this series is not as serious and has more comedy in it. Another thing, the approach to the cellphones is different from the approach to the robots in Chobits. And a little spoiler: the romance isn't between him and his cellphone Eko and don't even really hint at them growing closer or any of the usual typical romance in these kinds of series.
I thought it was a completely different series and it stands alone as a fun read with a good ending.

just funny and cute by ozanbaba on October 19th, 2009, 11:56pm

Asakura-sensei did not try to create something like Chobits. he simply created cute funny manga about a boy and his first cell phone, of course with nice romance add-on.

it's funny, it's cute and art is not bad at all.

read it if you want jokes

Decent, but not spectacular. by Lukannon on November 3rd, 2007, 6:42pm

It doesn't concern itself particularly with the how and why of the given premise, just plays around with it. Which is nice, really.

The humor isn't extraordinary, but it's pretty good. The characters aren't the type that'd be immortalized, but they're pretty solid. The art is fairly good, but it doesn't concern itself with effort. It's a solid series, not terribly good, but it's a humorous breath of fresh air and not at all bad for whiling away an afternoon.

Light Stuff by llbloodll on April 11th, 2007, 6:50pm

Azumanga Daioh (or any other comedy) + Chobits and this is what you get. Since the series is complete it probably doesnt cut into the romance / drama genre so its a just for laughs manga, give it a try. 8/10

not neccisarily like chobits.. by Emperorpogi on November 29th, 2006, 1:29pm

though the description said its like chobits its more of just a parody of it.. the manga chapters are very short and just compromise of small funny things.. i dont really thing there is neccisarily romance like chobits.. and the girl is nothing like chii

just read this manga as it just goes through a kids life who has a life like doll of a cellphone
