Description
From Mixini Studios:

In a not too distant future, the world is confronted with a host of issues: pollution, resource depletion, population expansion, and so on. In response, the Japanese government developed sensory simulation capsules (“beds”) and successfully launched a virtual reality program — “Gaia.” Interestingly, the designers omitted the concept of pain from the program, and as a result, there are no such things as pain or death in this new virtual world.

On a day that started as any other, Oono Yuuri stumbles across a mysterious card, which sets off a chain of strange events that evolve into a tale of conflicting dreams, unlikely friendships, and reluctant vengeance.

Interesting premise but I still find the setting a bit silly since why would anyone make a virtual reality system so dull. This isn't the matrix; you're not trying to fool anyone. So why not offer the users more to work with than your typical menu screen with an inventory of sorts. The main problem is that we, the readers, are given very little understanding of the conditions of the real world in the story so plotholes standout more to us than the author writing it and it feels like the author has a hard time understanding this. And some of the mystery involved with the story are irritating since they can be solved with just simple questions from one MC to the next:

Why did you not register the card beforehand? Where are you from?

What I do like about this manga is that the few antagonists that are currently shown have their dispositions flushed out and integrated into the plot nicely.

I'm only 9 chapters in so hopefully all these plotholes will get filled up eventually. But I feel this manga is a little too shounen-y to be considered a seinen.
