Inexplicably entertaining

Despite my not being a fan of survival horror, La Mosa really captivated me. The action scenes are nicely illustrated, the characters (with the exception of the protagonist, Hiken, and his sister, who're genuinely good people) are not at all hateful despite being selfish ba***rds, and the plot has just enough twists to keep you entertained, but not enough to be infeasible.

The art style is very manga-esque, but the writing style doesn't subscribe to the cliches that plague this genre of manga, which made for such a refreshing read that I got through all 7 volumes in one sitting.

this will be great for you because this manga have no end of people having their head bashed in and some kind of over the top martial arts. with the clean artwork the gore is not too realistic, and the actions are slick and easy to follow.

the plot is quite confusing until the last two volume. it is very hard for me to read this manga because im constantly besetted with thoughts that no businessman will ever follow such unproductive model (what with constant slave change and no realistic way in capturing beasts) but the last two volume answered a lot (though not all) and make everything worth it.

so give it a try. you might enjoy this more.

Not great but not terrible either, it was fun to read and think about, but it dragged a little at the end, the actually ending was good though, it fit the the manga and didnt try to make a statement or be a surprise, over all, if you have a free couple of days and you're bored, you might want to read it

Resembles Gantz, King of Thorns, battle royal, and the like.
Nice enough drawings, interesting yet undeveloped plot, mysteriously captivating characters. Overall its a good manga, it wont blow you away but its a nice enough read.

Its kinda like that one [m]Satanister[m] manga.. you know, violence, craziness, wackiness, confusion, and general awesome all rolled into one. So... while reading it, you'll go WTF, yet at the same time you'll be like, " Wow...."
