Description
From Storm in Heaven:

Touma heard a voice calling to him that day - a voice calling out to him in a dream. That day, Sousuke forsook his family, escaping with the sword that they had guarded for generations. Touma's dreams weren't supposed to mean anything once he woke up; Sousuke's family wasn't supposed to find him or the sword ever again. But once they meet, fate binds them together - and fate has a funny way of sending all such plans awry.

Here's what the scanlating site says:

"Doublets serialized chapter 1-2 in Kurofune Zero, but it's been over a year since a chapter has appeared. Either it's cancelled, on haitus, or will be serialized in another magazine. We will continue this project if more chapters are printed."

I sincerely hope it IS continued somehow, Kyuugou-sama's works are always fantastic and this one seems to be no exception: charismatic/likeable characters, plotty plot, interesting world-building, gorgeous drawing etc... <3

I love the beginning! The art is clean and precise, shounen-like! And all her characters are likeable, even the villain is smexy! It's just the slooooooooooooooow updates that is kind of bothering me. It has been one year already...sad

Kyuugou's a fantastic writer, so I knew it wasn't possible for this series (even if it is a departure from the usual BL genre) to turn out badly. As always, the characters seem genuine and engaging. Even when nothing happens, Kyuugou has a way of keeping your attention with a lot of heartfelt emotion and tension. The plot to this story seems to be an odd mixture of complicated and cliche - twists that don't seem that surprising, but told in a way where I really don't mind the predictability. Only two chapters have been released so far, but they're definitely worth a look. The art is great, and the story has good potential.
