First thing first. I don't hate Fujisawa-Sensei. In fact, I love his work on GTO. But, I gotta tell you, this one is really really horrible. It breaks my heart to say it, but it is the truth.
As I said in my comments on the prequel, Rose Hip Zero, Fujisawas-Sense had zero idea about the story when he was writing this manga. I cut the crap and straight to the most fatal flaw. Dropped plot thread! There are way way way too many dropped characters on this manga. They are simply... vanished. Not, they are not dead, but vanished. Into mid air... I saw many potential characters at the last chapter on the prequel. Hmm, let see... there was this one eyed guy, there was this naked girl who teared up a building with her bare hand, there was this snickering mysterious man at the shadows who was mumbling something which supposedly important, there was these kids in hood who tried to act cool, and there was these people who was shooting aimlessly at the background. But when when I read this manga... Poof. They're gone. Not to be seen ever again. Just like that.
Oh, it still gets worse. Not only Fujisawa-Sensei didn't have a single clue about the story, he was also confused about who the side characters supposed to be. Seriously. First, there was this badass police guy. Then poof, he disappeared. Then came this virtuous rookie police guy. Then poof, he also disappeared. Next, we have this young innocent high school kid, then... well, continue the pattern yourself. Next, we have this kinky/erotic girl. This one still lasts though, for God knows how long.
The main character is not doing so hot either. Apparentely, she has a magical wig, which not only shorter than her original hair, but also changes her personality. When she wears her magical wig, she becomes an honest, innocent, helpless, can't cook, help-me-big-brother-for-I-am-so-cute kind of girl. But when she releases her magical wig, she became a super ultra mighty babylicious power girl, who punishes naughty boy with her moon power... err, I mean plastic guns. Yep, it isn't wrong, she uses plastic guns.
I'm so furious after I read this manga, since I actually bought the books. I could've swear Fujisawa-Sensei sold his soul to the demons for GTO, since he did a marverlous job in GTO, but only made terrible manga afterwards. I want my money back, and 20% extra consolation fee. If you want to read some action manga from Fujisawa-Sensei, go buy Demon Hunter Tokko. It is much better, since it only lasts three volumes, so it already ends before Fujisawa-Sensei makes another screw up.
I'm afraid I'm with the other reviewers with this one. fantastic art and good plot, though not the best. If you can get past the gore then it's an enjoyable read, however as the others said, I wouldn't classify it as something you put at the top of the list to read.
Nice art, good subject and a beatiful story. You must read a story of a human that has bad past from FUJISAWA Tohru. But there is a dumps. Author didn't continue manga. Altogether i will wait. Probably it may be continued.
Well, this one can be classified as a should-read. Nice art, cool story (I mean, story about cool ordinary girls who could fight like pros or more).
Nice clean art + decent story = interesting read (but not one that I would classify as a must-read).
