i feel really sad of the author i hope she rest in peace and to me this manhwa is gem, i hope someone continued this series.. the plot and stories is really really good and unique, really this is so so so good.. and the character is catchy and impressive and ofc memorable, i feel sad this manhwa discontinued 🙁(

So, it took me some time to sit down like this and put "Teen Spirit" in the list of completed stories.

Not because of the circumstances, in which KIM Jea-Eun finished the last parts, but because of the feelings I had while reading it. First off - I'm pretty much into music storylines and always have an eye on the realistic feel, they should have to suit my taste, whenever I stumble upon a story bound to this. The same did go for "Teen Spirit" - And it managed to make me keep the last chapter for some time, because I didn't want to close the book. Kkk. Well, I guess, that's a compliment itself, but there's more aside from the atmosphere. ^^

The artwork was nicely done and appealing. Not only the handsome male characters and their stylish looks got me, but also the unique sidekicks and the backgronds. All in all, the characters were fun to look at and look into, when their past was revealed and they started to struggle with the chance they got. As for the storyline and it's flow: It was well-paced, although every now and then felt a bit rushed or out of order, but for me it was still okay.

The ending was quite touching, especially ...

... Because it was kept open and with the fading lines just gave off the impression, that every character still has it's way to go and to face life - And with it, all the struggles of growing up and trying to reach their specific dreams.

To sum it up - I like "Teen Spirit" and if you are looking for catchy characters, a storyline about friendship, music and growing-up, then you can give it a try without hesitation.

This is crazily addicting. I was about to take my afternoon nap but I said, I'll just scan the first volume. Man, the hot and cool bishies took me in right away. It's hard leaving my sit reading this even for nature's call. This manhwa just has the right pacing with interesting characters. It's just so sad this was discontinued. It's really a jewel to read. I'd really wish this was longer. The art and story are no doubt good. RIP sensei. Thank you for bring this series to us...and for sharing your talent.

This manga was really lovely and I could really tell that the author had a deep interest in this subject. I love the artist's drawing and the way she drew her characters: they were gorgeous. I also liked how author made it so they didn't become famous right away and had to train to get there 🙂 I'm pretty sure many k-pop fans would have enjoyed this. Even so, the last chapter made me cried a lot because the author put her all into this even though she was close to death...It makes me realized how unfair life can be but I'm happy she was able to do what she loved until the end. May she rest in peace.

I love this mahnwa. It has the most beautiful art ever. While perhaps the surface of the story may seems clliche, I believe the characters make it a bit more original and deep. They all come (at least from what we've seen) from very different backgrounds and problems from each other, yet they all love and do the same thing.

I cried when I found of Kim-sensei died. If you read her other works you'll see she was amazing. RIP. She will be missed

What a pain she died! I'm now reading chapter 11, but if it will stay discontinued, I don't want to read it anymore, because at the end I will be very sad because there will be no more chapters. T_____T

I'm LOVING this manhwa so far. I have been looking for good showbiz manga/wanhwa and this one is one of the definite must read. The art is beautiful. They are all so HOT! I'm swooning as I read it!! The plot is okay so far. It centers around the 5 boys (around 17-early 20s) who are signed in a recording company as trainees. They are all talented in their own way, but they have to overcome obstacle of being the best they could be. There is no romance so far, even though the story is tagged as "shoujo"--and there are no girl protagonist either. There is a hint that this might be a shounen-ai, but that's not definite yet; I can't really tell from just 20 chapters. I'm honestly hoping for a shounen-ai, though. They are all hot; it doesn't matter to me.

Anyways, it's a must read for those who are into music-related manhwa. It's a pleasure to read!!

Edit: I just read the "category." Oh snap. The author died before it's completed? That sucks on so many levels....

It's been a while since I heard of any updates from this manga and I come back to find out that the author's dead. Sigh Poor soul...this manga was truly amazing, especially the art and was one of my faves 🙁 .

Oh how I wish we could have more of Jea Eun Sensei's work. I have just discovered her today, and found that she has passed away due to cancer. I am devastated at the loss of what is clearly a very talented artist. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a manwha quite this much. The art is gorgeous, and is backed by a very strong story with unique pretty boy characters! Definitely please check this out, despite it being incomplete... it is worth it.

As a lover of entertainment industry based stories, I love this series. I also tend to like slowly-developed plot lines, so the pacing doesn't bother me. The artwork is unique, and the characters are visually appealing, to say the least 🙂 So, I look forward to future chapters!!
