This is an amazing series. one of the absolute best ever. Kurusu has been amazing at all times and he's love for karin is just soooo cute. Such an amazing power yet surprisingly I'm fine with the almost godlike power, probably because of karin. EXTREMELY mad that they are on hiatus and/or the project is scrapped. I hope they recontinue it....please? onegai shimase!

i really hope some more of this will get scanlated soon, it seems like forever since the last release and my patience is at its limit. i can't wait for more!!! please!!!

the manga itself has a refreshing sense of originality and a sincerely interesting plot/story that produces many emotionally impacting scenarios from the past, present, and future (anticipating potential storyline) parts of the story, all centering around the troubled, but likeable and enigmatic male protagonist (who happens to have a really cool power in my opinion; and as far as i know a surprisingly original one at that). i also am extremely pleased by the fact that it's not another manga where the protagonist always ends up beating his opponent or achieving his objective without anyone ever dying (and not coming back to life) or suffering the consequences of their actions and instead having everything end up happily resolved with everything and/or everyone forgiven. as a side note, the art is subtle, yet spectacular. overall, my review of luck stealer:

great story, great art, great everything. an all around great manga

I found this story to be rather interesting. The concept seem unique enough for me to give it a shot and so far I have read all that there is scanlated. I like the invincible anti-hero qualities of the story providing it a unique vibe, as well as the moe daughter, who is to die for. Though the manga is well written, I really do hate how childish the main character is, though he is suppose to be a calm and cool assassin. It is also a bit irritating that the plot hasn't furthered very much in the 4 volumes that I have read so are. I can see that the author is trying to establish a strong character basis and atmosphere, but for a shounen manga, that seems a little out of place. It is over all a pretty good story, if you get over its slow pacing and childish qualities and read a little deeper into it than just the superficial artwork and plot. Overall I give it an 8.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
Omg I though that it was going to follow in the footstep of Death Note for a second there when the cop guy started investigating the "accidents." I would have sucked if it became a detective mystery instead of a shounen, lol, thank god that didn't happen.

Awesome art and totally original killing method. I like the main character as he is calm, collected and smart and his personality change around Karin is just funny as. His past is quite mysterious and interesting and so is his relationship with Karin. The motives of the other characters are not known very much and this makes the manga even more interesting. Plus its pretty creative how each of the targets die due to their supposed accidents. A unique manga with a good calm protagonist. I disagree with the guy below. Mangas sometimes need time to develop a plot and its only been 9 chapters and by the look of the chapter 9 there is definetly a plot developing. This manga definetly has potential. The action scenes are good as well. You gotta read dis people.

I'll admit that the artworks are really nice and the idea of stealing luck is effing cool... But honestly, I think that was just it. There's really no story behind it, no real plot to make luck stealing a MUST READ...

First of all art is really good 2) main guy have original powers and funny yet cool personality 3)main guy dont go saying long speeches about his believes he usually just kills his prays without talking at all ( that gives some realism to manga ) 4) even fought i have readen just 4 chapters but i can tell some serious shit is bound to happen soon 5) i like how people react after he kills somebod with his powers ^_^

P.S i gave 9.5 because its not finished yet and i never give 10 if it is not finished

i dont know if its all the booze talking, but it gets me every time when he suddenly gets all sweet around karin. that and the artwork is really nice like the previous poster said.
although the first chapter isnt very good because they try to throw too much info at you, and they do it awkwardly; its still a very entertaining and unique read.
try it
