After reading the reviews here I went into this manga with high expectations but it turns out to be not as good as I expected.
First of all the time loop. How did this guy die 100 times? Surely after the first few times you'd have remembered the attack patterns and figured out how to fight back. How comes this guy let himself get killed 100 times and then on the 101th time he decides "fuck it, time to fight back now"?
In a normal time travel story like All You Need Is Kill, on each "life" the MC tries something different, getting further and further each time. So for example he gets past the first enemy but gets killed by the second. Then he figures out how to kill the second enemy but gets killed by the third, but slowly he is making progress.
In this manga, the MC spends 100 "lives" just sitting there and doing nothing and getting killed. Then on the 100th life he suddenly
The bigger problem is that there wasn't any emotional bond developed between the characters and there was no connection between the reader and the character so...the ending had no emotional impact on me. Just felt cheap.

It sucks that they had to experience that stuff, but it's kinda cool how the whole thing ended.
This was a really really short manga, but an interesting one nonetheless

Some think the ratings aren't trustworthy but I find them quite accurate most of the time. So I didn't have that much hopes for this one as the majority of the votes are at 7. However this was a great manga! Generally I hate horror but this one is still in an acceptable gruesome range. It was quite good! I would expect the majority of the ratings to be at 10 for this one but on the other hand I can understand as despite wanting to I am not going to give this one a 10 as I tend to only give 10's to my very favourites and generally not to oneshots as theyre too short to actually draw my emotions out (this ones more of a volume though) . I think it was very interesting and I loved it a lot. If it was longer and we had more of a backstory to it and kt was a series I would have probably given it a 9 or 10. But I think in a way if the Author had made it longer it would have just dragged on, a oneshot is perfect for this and I believe the author chose the right time to stop. Very well done and well written. I quite like the art and how the author used mainly dark tones to back up the stories dark theme. I really enjoyed the darkness of it and the subtle romance in it was great. There was a plot twist that took me by surprise too! Great Plot, Great Art and you have a decent grasp of the characterisation just from this one shot too, the characters are quite unique and don't feel cliché. A very refreshing read and I read it in like 10 min so I recommend you to give it a try as even if you don't like it you wouldn't have wasted much of your time!

Much better than his other series because it deals with the topics in a grim and solemn manner and shows a good understanding of the characters' motivations and feelings. In this piece, the drama actually plays out well and contributes to the tension and excitement of the plot.

This is one of the very few one-shots I've read that was very complete and also a bit touching in the end. Kano-san should really be allowed to get serialized for this. In fact, everything was just awesome and quite satisfying to read. This should be saved on your hdd indefinitely.

The first serious manga that Kano-san has done since "Snow in the Dark", "Loop" makes it clear that he is capable of making serious, if not, tragic story.
The characters, of course, are a far cry from his two previous works, the pace of the story is well-thought and written and makes you wonder what happens next. In a way, I'm glad that Kano-san is expanding to other genres besides just ecchi, romance or comedy.
While Kano makes good short stories, I really yearn for another series from Kano-san, and perhaps with Loop, maybe the editors at Shuiesha will give him another chance.

Well you'll never really expected Kano to do a manga on murder that often. Im pretty surpise with this one he put a lot of effort and it was truely an amazing manga for it's type. Sort of mix of Mx0/Deathnote art in a way.
