Description
A boy went to take his trash out late one night, and found a strange, creepy, gothic-lolita-dressed woman sitting amongst the garbage bags. She asked if he had a little sister, and he answered her, hurrying afterwards back to his apartment. When he looked out the window, she was gone. Who is the strange woman, and why does she give him such a bad feeling?

1 word = twisted. By reading a couple of chapters , you know it would be a fked up manga. The idea is nice i guess. I really liked it. 100% sure it's not family friendly. (Since when horror genre has been family friendly XD)

Gruesome

If there's anything this manga did well, it's excelling at the horror genre. Of course there are plenty different types of horror and this one was great at illustrating the gore. I can't say this manga felt fulfilling or enjoyable in any way but the sheer repulsiveness of the manga is what really made it a gripper. The manga was overall creepy and quite graphic. The subtle attempts at ecchi did not help raise my rating for this manga.

Disappointing for a different reason

The earliest review says that some people might imagine that this is a

monster
or psycho girl love story but I really doubt that. That certainly wasn't my expectation.

Should I mention what the big problem is or talk about the good points? The thing is that the overall direction is so bad that it ruins the good points retroactively to some degree. That just gives you a feeling of disappointment.

Nowhere in the premise or in the tone did I think this was a love story. The girl is creepy and gross, and that's a good thing. Is this just a creepy girl or does the guy have some connection with her specifically. It made me recall stalker news events but later on, that's exactly why it fails.

I'll put a spoiler tag from now on but I think you should read it even if you haven't read the story so you'll know why it's so disappointing.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Alright... I mentioned before that it makes you think of real life stalking events. This girl is certainly deranged. All of that is good... But then the story ends up being supernatural in the last minute. Instead of the guy having a connection with her or the better twist of it having nothing to do with him... she ends up being some monster. If you've ever read Hell teacher nube or Tasogare Otome X Amnesia... she's like that slit mouth woman I guess.

To me, that was such an incredible disappointment that it negates a lot of the story and it's so unnecessary. It being supernatural feels like an out of no where thing too.

An interesting thriller

It's not quite terrifying, but an interesting read nonetheless. There is no focus on the supernatural, though an inspection of certain details can reveal a more gruesome conclusion.

we never see the protagonist's sister's corpse, even though everyone else that died left a corpse behind

Other than scaring you and having you forever watching out for a gothic lolita psychopath when taking out trash...

Numerous moments of the story weren't really logical, but I guess that is just how it works with horror.

and creepy at some rare times. But at some points it was disgusting to the point where I wasn't even scared but just felt physically sick. (might be because I have problems with seeing someone vomit)
It took me quite some time to get through it and the first volume didn't really keep me interested, the second one seemed more thrilling.
The part I found the most creepy was the old psychiatry, dilapidated buildings are just awesome... I also liked the second extra about that "editor", it reminded me of Misery by Stephen King a bit.

This was one genuinely creepy manga that had me unable to put it down until I finished the whole thing in one go. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone interested in a grotesque and thrilling horror with an air of mystery surrounding it.

I usually don't read horror stories but with the little sister angle on this one, it caught my eye (yes, I'm that kind of guy.) Anyways, more than fear for the protagonist, I feel kind of grossed out. The only legitimately exciting moment for me so far was when:
