Challenging Power Fantasies: A Deep Dive into the Idiosyncrasies of Creature Girls Societies

I've really enjoyed it (even despite some straw man arguments it presents). I hope the complexity of its world and social perspectives continues to evolve. We need more rebellious members in the harem, with ideals that slightly conflict with those of the MC (even though it's already a polycule, a more complex one would be more interesting—the further it moves away from a typical power fantasy, the more I think the manga would improve). But aside from that, the amount of idiosyncrasy in the manga makes it worth it, surpassing the vast majority of Isekais whose biggest moral conflict doesn’t go beyond the standard of a popular shonen.

The fact that it's controversial is precisely a plus; I enjoy thinking about the fallacies the characters' arguments fall into, why I wouldn't agree with them, etc.

As for those who complain about the supposed cuckold content, as they say in my country: 'A hungry man thinks of bread.'

And finally, this is the only time that the inclusion of a second 'narrator' in an Isekai hasn't bothered me (the kids from 'Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?' were unbearable XD). I found it really interesting how they've handled the evolution of the protagonist's friend, even though sometimes it seems like he only exists to reinforce some incel fantasy, haha. I have no idea how it will end, which is great.

yeah, defecation on feminazi insanity is a breath of fresh air in the current atmosphere of an open air outhouse, but ill be damned if the author is not beating a dead horse with a jackhammer after riding the same points to death for about ten damned chapters in total.
the anatomical approach to monster(girls) is also very refreshing and novel, it actually tries to turn fantasy cliches into actual grounded beings avoiding the "its magic, i aint gotta explain shit" cop-out.
the grounded approach to politics and relationships is yet again refreshing and avoiding trite cliches.

honestly, all in all this work is completely antithetical to jap writing style which is its main merit.
were it not for the overly preachy shounen nature of it and the very poor technological development aspects this could easily be an 8.5+ despite the completely generic setting and plot.

Eventually half the time is just spent on rants about how society should be that don't check out in a modern society but are presented as they should. Initially it's presented as if it's just thought experiments of how alien cultures could work, but that drops eventually.

The author clearly has a very seriously thought out set of ideals that he vicariously shares through various characters. On the surface, it's just a monster girl world isekai, but at frequent points, you'll see characters make full arguments and speeches about various social topics, including but not limited to feminism and human self-perceieved superiority to animals or "beasts". Aside from this, the various weaponry is fully fledged out in design, the fictitious monster girls have anatomy that is meticulously attempted at integration into our known biology, and almost every social interaction that strays from generic dialogue has a full blown inner working laid out in the form of thought bubbles, which express the author's perception of social hierarchy and the effects of environment and innate features on the mentality of (in this case) an ugly, short, unconfident virgin. Far be it from me to say whether the author's beliefs (or at least those he implements onto some of these characters) are right, wrong, indefensible, etc (they're pretty extreme to say the least though), but as someone who doesn't care for the monster girl schtick (and I hear there's ntr down the road, which I hate with every fiber of my being), I'm still reading due to how interesting it is, if only as a case study.

TLDR: Even if the weird ideals the author discussed at length vicariously through his characters is all hoopla at the end of the day(some very misanthropic and "old world, some very progressive and "new world" ), it's exceptionally well discussed and curious enough to keep reading if only just for that.

Giving a 10, not because I feel it's a 10, but I feel that the level of intricate detail and aforementioned discussions/ arguments, something I've never seen at this length, merit a 10, regardless of whether they're right or wrong

Be aware that the male lead is a cuck - lets a random dude rape his harpy wife "because it's their culture" and in the same volume lets a father of his centaur wife finger her for the same reason, both times he watches. I expect more cuck shit to follow.

By the creator of Mahou Shoujo Pretty Bell, it's basically "culture shock - the manga". It's a controversial, fantasy biology/stone age science/survival manga. There's a lot of sex and scientific explanation (fantasy or real). A big focus throughout the manga is otherworld tribe culture through different perspectives.

It sounds pretty controversial, and I could see how people would find issue with how it's portrayed. But also this manga is --once again--, "culture shock -- the manga", with a heaping helping of fantasy science and stone age science.

Read to chapter 30. Man gets isekai'd into a world of primitive monster people and has to build stuff for them without making gunpowder, electricity, steam power, or internal combustion engines because the mangaka wanted a writing challenge(literally says this in volume extras). The mangaka has an extremely verbose manner of explaining every single detail of how every bit of biology and technology works in this magicless world. Then there comes the sexism centaur who also speaks in an extremely verbose manner. This time about how females aren't oppressed because they can just manipulate men with love. It gets unbearably awful when the author starts taking volume extras to preach directly to the readers about how women just have to submit to men then they will be free. Really paints the MC's whole "gonna be the monster girl harem king" thing in a different light.
