Description

A sequel and spin-off to Yasashii Kankei. Tamura Kouji, Naoya's former co-worker from Yasashii Kankei, finally returns to Okayama to take over his father's car business. Though he still has Naoya on his mind, his family and friends give him a warm welcome and invite him to a class reunion. There, he meets a man that looks strangely like the one who robbed him of his first love, and is just as disagreeable. But while bringing him home in a drunken stupor, Tamura realizes there may just be more to the man than he thinks.

I look at the rating and think: why? Now that more chapters are out, it should have a higher rating. With this Mangaka, notice how well the eyes and facial expressions are done. In one page, you can see a character go from anger to fear just through the eyes. Creating realistic characters is a plus too. They can be kind, selfish, playful, caring, petulant and all remain in character. Faces are realistically drawn where the non-realistic drawings are done to represent the person's action at the time or the emotional state. Too often, the unreal facial expressions are done as a shortcut when drawing a face that expresses the same emotion is harder. I like the humor too. This tells a story involving people that I would love to have as friends and neighbors. Rating: 10 / 10.0 Did you find this comment useful? Yes No
