Description
From ADV: Akane is a charming young girl with two separate identities. Growing up as a princess in the Dainagon family, she befriends Aogi, who, as he matures, takes a position with the Inner Guards at the Imperial Palace, thus becoming unavailable to the outside world. When the long-lasting separation from her childhood chum becomes unbearable, Akane must assume a second persona, that of a servant of the Imperial Palace. But entering the gates of the castle doesn't get her any closer to Aogi, and soon, these star-crossed lovers are breaking all the rules for that sweet reunion they both crave.
Sometimes I find this manga cute or something like that, but there're time I think it annoying... the girl is assumed strong but I think she's rather dumb and too naive. Several times I question: how stupid she can be? Her innocence may be the most attractive thing and a good point but it also a disaster. She's too easy to believe in ppl so puts herself in danger in many cases. If there were not because of her luck or her family member (except the father), servants and the lover, she would lose all of her 'precious'. And her feeling, though all the readers suppose it very certain, she takes a longgg time to confess ="= And the male lead, too. There're time that he's a bright for the story and quite a perfect chara, indeed. Yet his indecisiveness's a bother. I had wished a lot that he wouldn't think too much... In general, this is a good story. Cute and clear art, soothing but also meaningful and educational ^^. I like how the mangaka decribes character's feeling in maturing process, it really explains the way I feel now , still consider should I buy my own copies or not
I really love this manga. I love historical ones. The characters are awesome! I love the stroyline. The art is really nice! I'm still waiting for volume 3 O_O it's been like 5 years....so I'm not counting on it to come out....and no one's scanlated so I'm pretty sad.
the story is totally awsome except for the fact that the next volume (volume 3) hasn't come out in..... 2 years?? or more.... (In America that is) It is really good though and the characters are really great! recommended!! ^.^ Aaargh! I wish ADV manga would just finish the series!!! TT.TT
