At first I found the manga a little confusing, but if you pay attention it isn't hard to follow at all (where was my brain?) I really like this series for various reasons. For one, it has a lot of lore and info, lot's of comedy, yet it maintains a more serious plot. The characters are hard not to like, even the bad guys (lol at Raiko in volume 6 or seven. <------forgot) The main characters are surrounded in mystery, so it keeps you wanting more. As for Kantarou's gender preference, it is yet to be indicated, but you can think whatever you like...lol
I love Tactics very very very much! Anime is great, but manga...I have no words! I admire it! Cool story and art! Kantarou, Haruka and Raikou are so beautiful! And Sugino, Father Edwards and even Hasumi too! They are so hot! And Kantarou is gay and loves Haruka...I am fond of it!
Personally, I feel in love with this series. Both manga and anime. Good story, great characters. Give it a try, there is more to this than meets the eye.
