Description
From Storm in Heaven: Karasu is an angel of the class Powers; Shirasagi is a demon, a Marquis. One day Karasu is assigned to convince Shirasagi to return to Hell. However, Shirasagi doesn't act like a demon at all -- not only is he a priest, but he's forsworn the use of his demonic powers, and wishes nothing more than to live his life as a human. But the Archduke of Hell also has his eyes set on Shirasagi, and Karasu's own deviant behavior soon throws him out of God's favor. Will the pair be able to overcome the restrictions and laws of being an angel and a demon and live their lives freely?

while a lot of manga are based on the theme of the forbidden love between angel and demons, "na mo naki tori no tobu yoake" really distinguishes itself with a lot of unique qualities and a superb storyline. needless to say, kisaragi hirotaka has such beautiful art works that really accentuates the plot! (especially those wings! ) anyway, i like the themes being discussed in this particular work and it really makes the reader think.
as for my own little preference, i liked the side characters' romance better than the main one; i don't know why. haha

This story was excellent. It's really hard to find shounen-ai/yaoi mangas with an actual plot and developed characeters. The 3 relationships described are portrayed in a unique way (specially the "guide" one..that surprised me but added a nice twist to the plot and added to this manga's awesomeness). This story is beautiful in every way, so I totally recommend it.

Ok so yaoi isn;t my thing and I was reluctant to even pick this up but I'm glad I did. It's a very sweet story but is also quite controversial in it's theme. Ultimately it comes down to is love ok even though it's condemn by heaven. It really makes you think without you even realising. This is more shounen-ai than yaoi as there is only one brief scene and it's not really graphic. It could have done to be stretched out a little as some things were a little confusing, especially at the end but overall this is a pretty good read.

When I first started reading this manga, it pushed all the wrong buttons for me and eventually, the only thing that kept me going was the artwork. (Yeah, I'm a sucker for great artworks). But by the time I finished the third volume, I was really touched and very surprised by revelations in the last chapter. At some point, the plot pulled me in. XD
This is a good read and the plot is really something so you should very well read this with an open mind (and probably a sturdy faith, if you're a Christian). I love how the mangaka "twisted" her deep plot to effectively portray the relationship and emotions of the characters.

Ah, I can't believe I waited so long to read this one, it's excellent! The art on it's own would be beautiful, but in a story like this it is a work of art. I'm used to BL manga that are short on story and character development, but this is a far cry from those. Not only is it a great love story, but it's got symbolism, and a good number of allusions to classic western works as well. It's also nice to see that though the main two characters are given plenty of time, the side characters get their chance to shine as well. I'd recommend this to any fan of the genre.

| Beautiful love story! by bluegenjutsu on December 17th, 2008, 6:26pm |

This has 3 good romance stories in it but the main one is the best. One of the more better written yaoi stories you will find, because it has a great plot, romance and the only sex in it came at the end. I definitely recommend this story to yaoi lovers that enjoy a really good story and a heart touching romance.

It's sad to see that some of us just can't get past the superficial aspects of the story, and can't truly enjoy the whole new perpective it gives on such a philosophical issue such as religion and a dozen of other existential problems. It's dissapointing to see some whining cause it wasn't pretty enough, or it wasn't more explicit. It was wounderful, beautiful in every way ... You don't stumble everyday upon a shounen-ai mangaka that actually gives it's characters complex personalities, showing human nature with all it's beauty and flaws ... the need to find a purpose for existing, questioning rules and barriers set by society ,the craving for power ... and the fact that she pictured the greatest treason of them all as being an act of selfish love just blew my mind.

| Gah! Unforgettably, Exceptionally Amazing! by MightyMaeve on July 1st, 2008, 4:26pm |

Incredible.
I was deeply moved by all the characters - even two of the secondary characters. The main couple had some of the most touching, moving scenes I have ever read and viewed in my history of manga/story/art experiencing.
The story line was complex and had great twists and turns. (The bird and the 'guide'!!! Who would have guessed! But it made perfect sense. . .)
And I love the curly hair on Kosaru!
I read each volume a couple of times before going on to the next. . . and then i went back again.
