Description
Based on DS Dating Sim "Love Plus"
Aikawa Wataru's father is being transferred overseas. Seeing this as a perfect opportunity, Wataru decides to stay behind in Japan and live on his own. Even though he's a new transfer student, his teacher convinces him to become a Library Representative. A fellow Library Rep tells him they’re missing a member and asks Wataru to find her. Not knowing how she looks like, he wanders the school trying to find her only to notice two girls gossiping about her negatively. It turns out the person he's looking for isn't well liked, because of her bad personality.
Her name is Kobayakawa Rinko, but what's the source of her bad attitude?
There is nothing that special about this manga. I would have liked if the two girls would have at least talked to each other or be friends. It seems like the tennis girl is just there to make the manga longer.
This is one of those manga's that is predictable and you can finish it within a hour. The story is straight forward which I liked and that was it.
Overall it was a decent manga if you want to take a break from reading one of those very long manga's.
It's very typical but it still had me smiling at times. It's surprisingly okay. Has small funny moments that aren't outrageous. And it's a quick read.
I think Rinko's character is a little weak though, she does manage to be cute with her attitude. It's hard to do a good tsudere character despite how cute the action and attitude can be.
Only 9 chapters and I can already say I really like this manga. I love romance but I'm also very picky so I don't find many romances that I can say I truly like. That's the reason why I value Seo Kouji's work above any other romance author, because they're just exactly what I want to read. Most people have problems with cliches and generic situations as a whole but not me. For me a romance manga is even more enjoyable if it plays out these cliches in a good way and that's what this mangaka does. There's almost nothing out of the ordinary or very innovative in his mangas but I still enjoy them a lot and they manipulate my emotions very easily which is the thing that romances have to do. Rinko Days is just like that. Nothing that wasn't seen before but it's still really damn enjoyable.
and so far it's pretty decent. I'm not a fan of this genre, I can already see what's coming... But it's a pretty good read and I sort of like the characters even though they're rather stereotypical.
It's good for a relaxed read if you've got some time to waste...
I'd like to be the first to Review this one. It's only at 1 chapter. But it's still pretty effing spot on! As I was reading, I felt like Seo Kouji took the DS game, played it, broke it in half, and said "Let's do this!" It does show how much of a pro he is. Not much has happened, but he makes it feel like you just experienced a couple of days in the manga (Apart from the long chapter). The art is as usual; Amazing, The Presentation is spot on, and the Characters are interesting, Naruto (His New Friend) is funny, The Teacher is (Beautiful) nice, and Rinko is just great. Rinko is as you all know the main heroine, But she is beyond the main heroine. Although in most manga/VN's you get a heroine that's Outgoing, Tsundere, Normal, or Insecure and etc. You get a feeling that she's got multiple of these traits going for her, It's like she's Tsundere, She looks Normal enough (But looks cute), She's in charge most of the time, but you can feel her slight insecurities. The character has a couple more elements i won't bore you with, but she's a complete package.
I'd have to say this delighted me, it's funny, doesn't drag on, and makes a point. On top of all that the drawings are great, the writing is interesting and situations fit, and not to mention the great quality scantlation from Redhawk and Simple Scans, you get a manga that I look forward to every bit as much, if not more than Kimi and Lucia. All these complements go towards what you already guess to be a 10... out of 10, or if your an X-play fan, a Five(5)...................... out of Five(5) Hopefully it stays good past the first chapter. (And I know it will) I'm glad I added this to Mangaupdates (I like to be a part of things) (Update) Chapter 2-3, And I believe the introduction of Manaka was Great, It proves that unlike allot of other Male Protagonists, Aikawa's not spineless. Seo's Male Leads are rarely hated, because they react like (Good) Guys would, maybe a bit unorthodox, but (Fairly) Naturally. Also, It gives the series a challenge, They aren't already together, They might develop the Relationship, or maybe they won't entirely, that's what makes this a great read, if anything else it's better than the other Loveplus manga's. On Chapter 3, it's getting more interesting with a certain someones vulnerability (No spoilers). Can't wait to see what "Sunday" will bring! I stand by my score (It's getting even better now!)
