A long long long long long love story by charsiewpau on October 17th, 2009, 9:08pm

Seriously, after being a reader of this manga for more than a decade (closer to two, more like..) Damn Keiichi sure ages pretty slowly... and Kosuke Fujishima sure knows how to weave a very long story.

For new readers or romance readers, this is right up your alley, but if you're expecting a resolution sometime soon, you'd be disappointed, I know I am... For the love of God, this manga began in 1988!!

great! by kokychi on January 23rd, 2009, 5:35pm

I love the artwork that's from vol.6 to vol.25. They're so beautiful and detailed. It seems to be less and less nice after that.

Anyway, the story's romantic, great and meaningful. I really love it !!

Hopefully, the next chapter's artwork should be better as it used to be.

whoah by chinatsu on January 23rd, 2009, 1:01am

I never saw the early chapters, so when I read it, it was really surprising... how the artwork has changed completely is really unbelievable

Manga vs Anime by Uthred on January 14th, 2009, 7:06am

While enjoyable it takes a (long) while to get going. Overall I think the anime does a better job of telling the same story, the manga is too episodic to make it enjoyable to read over long stretches. However the anime manages to tie the stories into a more coherent narrative with relatively minor changes (most of which are for the better). So yeah I'd go against the (tired) wisdom that "the manga is better" for this one.

awsome by syncsanjiv on July 26th, 2008, 4:25pm

just love the manga.. i feel the romance between the two protagonists must be one of the more mature ones from all the mangas i've read ..
even the anime is not bad at all ... hope they make a third season though...

Light Hearted by Yakumaru on July 5th, 2008, 8:08pm

Well at first the drawing well quite Not on me taste, but as the story progressed (maybe), the drawing really developed into awesomeness and the light hearted interacton between the characters is quite my coffee.. But due to really slow physical developement, I can't really give it a 10....

But still....

It's One of my all time beloved manga and anime series.......

Great story, but takes a while to get going by boomstick3000 on March 12th, 2008, 2:59am

Honestly, I didn't care for it very much until around volume 9 or 10. I don't even really know how I made it that far. It wasn't all that great, graphically or storywise. Later on, the story and artwork both improve pretty dramatically, and now it's one of my favorite series. If you can get throught he first volumes, I highly recommend it.

meh by stabby on January 10th, 2008, 10:56pm

art is fine, but there's not really any story... is the conflict with Masa the main plot development? I don't really see what the big deal is :/

Mini Review of Sorts by HCB on October 8th, 2007, 2:00am

Like already mentioned, the artwork was kinda crappy at the beginning. But it starts getting better around volume 6 or 7. (To be fair, all-round artwork was good, just that faces were kind of "off", and hairstyles were different from now.) Despite there being not much actual progress (yes, I do mean physical progress >_>) between Keiichi and Belldandy, I still like the sweet and often touching stories Fujishima comes up with, so I'd continue to buy this.
