Description

1941, and the Germans have begun their invasion of the Soviet Union. Nadya, an officer of the NKVD, recruits Vasenka, a witch apprentice of the infamous Baba Yaga, to the Soviet cause. Over a series of adventures, told mostly non-chronologically, they battle both the Germans and creatures of folklore with the help of guns, magic, and allies from slavic mythology.

Two girlfriends - witch sergeant Medvedev and devoted and pro-science communist Nadia fight world war 2 on russian front. They tend to bump into supernatural situations which they somehow resolve for the glory of Motherland. It's hilarious and reminds me of Akira Toriyama's works - same childish cute art, same easy-going humour.
