Can't Breath Without You Around~ by Disremembrance on October 8th, 2009, 11:06pm

Oh, how I wish I could feel like Niki and feel so happy continuously. Even though I was grinning from ear to ear just now after finishing up this story, I have to go back down to earth and be sane for sometime more. Aww and cuteee, sweet but the sadisticness just kind of makes me go... "What?" "Uh, okay then... I'm just gonna fast forward to the more loving part." It just isn't my thing, and it never will be. Just go read and enjoy this series, kay? |

Well... the uke was indeed needy, but I suppose there was a legitimate reason for it, and I wasn't annoyed by him at all. (It's actually kind of endearing, and I usually dislike needy ukes so. ;D ) On the whole I really enjoyed this, not to mention the art is really pretty ♥

Gah.... needy! by Liria on January 3rd, 2009, 1:10am

I couldn't get past the uke's neediness this time. It was just too much for me. Otherwise, decent story and art (though a bit slowly paced, it seemed).

That was one of the cutest story i've ever read, i squeals hundreds of time. Seriously, some scenes, i did really want to yell at Shouji for being so mean. But he just so gentle anyway. And Niki is so kawaii~ xDD love them both, Yuri-sensei and Yamimaru-sensei did a fantastic job on creating this wonderful manga together.~ ♥

Dysfunction junction by elisegrey on September 27th, 2008, 3:53pm

Don't be fooled by the 'sweetness' of the first few chapters - halfway through everything takes a sharp turn towards the dysfunctional (and, if you're anything like me as a reader, the disturbing) as the relationship between the two main characters breaks apart only to reform into...something honestly very creepy. There's a happy ending, but as I don't want to spoil anything I can't make myself too clear exactly why I certainly say 'happy' with an eyebrow raised. The normal 'BE MINE ENTIRELY' yaoi cliché and the annoyingly prevalent needy, helpless uke are taken to extremes and dealt with head-on, and I don't think entirely endorsed.
Yamimaru Enjin's artwork seems to have become much more coherent recently, and some page layouts really got me going, "Ooooh."

Pretty art, empty story by ZeroNine on September 27th, 2008, 2:02pm

Art is very eye-pleasing and, like her other manga, the story doesn't have much to offer nor is it memorable, which seems to be Enjin's trademark.
I thought with an author on board it would improve, but it hasn't. It started off well, but dwindled with its limpy pacing to vague conclusion. How frustrating.
At least it makes more sense than Tengoku e Ikebaii, which says a lot. I have decided not to read any more Enjin's manga. Art is memorable, but her stories aren't.

Such a sweet story.. I went all "aww so cuteeee", although Niki is a little of unrealistic character, it's really feels nice to see Shouji taking care of him.. Bathing, powdering.. n_n

Needs taking care of...*awww* by mica363 on November 26th, 2007, 2:48am

You know you will like it because Shouji is the only one that can pull Niki out of his "cocoon". The helpless Niki needs Shouji to push him, not so much push, but encourage. Cute relationship, yes it probably falls under typical, but I hate to say that then you might say "eh, i'll pass on it now". Take a chance, you might enjoy...
