Pros (for me):
-plot twists
-actually creepy and the creepy factor has nothing to do with rape or nudity
-the female characters aren't annoying or useless
-the story was clearly planned
-romance didn't play a big part

Cons:
-English translations are choppy and ridden with mistakes (I had to read quickly to not be bothered too much by them)
-Everyone looks much younger than they really are (they look like kids, not adults)
-Characters aren't particularly likable but at least they're not annoying
-One of the plot twists near the end I found to be as absurd as the other characters felt
-No season 2 it seems despite the preview

I had read Superior Day right before this one, and personally, I think Hanged Doll's story was more interesting (and creepier).

Horror, psychological thrillers, suspense, comedy, romance.... this manga has everything covered. I just wish I didn't choose to read this in the middle of the night.... It gave me actual goose bumps all over my arms...

There are many twists within the story, and this series is nice in that you have to try to figure out things for yourself rather than just go along for the ride. There are no actual supernatural phenomenon in the story, but the suspense keeps the readers on their toes. Love it.

Plot: well done, more psycological then traditional horror, nice switch at the end you don't know who's really evil, who's just messed up and who's good, i can t really comment on how the tension is (more on that later) but it was interesting, engaging, and had just enough creepiness to be a good horror story, it reminded me a lot of Doubt

Character: juan, mike and Angelina were realistic and 3-D but dex and Jessie were a little flat, though at the end it explains why dex was that way, all in all the character were good

The real problem is the scans, when it is readable its pretty clear that the translator has a loose at best understanding of conversational English (especially clauses and vocabulary). At some points its like reading a foreign language with a dictionary, you know what the words mean but not how they're suppossed to fit together. At other times it's just not readable, and there's a lot of that, I still have no idea about a lot of the little things that would make or break it overall.

So if you really like horror, then it's worth piecing through to read, but otherwise wait until there's a better version.
