A light-hearted read with gorgeous characters (the twin semes with contrasting looks & personalities are super cool!) and wonderful pairings (yeah, each twin gets his own darling). Mildly angsty, craftily erotic, and lots of fluff--and a happy ending!
Ayamu Okusawa lost his job and apartment in a coinsidence. He doesn't know how to live in big and unknown Tokyo. He comes from small village and came to Tokyo because of his grandfather's suggestion. Ayamu doesn't seem depressed but handsome stranger stops him from commiting suicide and takes him home. The stranger's name is Rin Hayasaka. He's a boss of host-club. He has twin brother named Ren who is Rin's opposite.

Really loved this!
The art, the art!! <3 But even other than the art I loved this story. I felt happy after reading this. Sure it wasn't unpredictable with a complex plot but still... One thing about this manga that gets a huge thumbs up from me though is the considerateness of the semes. There's no forcing here. After Ayumu turns Ren down he just goes "che!" I was so relieved! It's sweet. And I actually liked it how there was no forced drama. Even simplicity can be nice every now and again...
Just a little too fast for my tastes, which is usually the problem with a lot of yaoi mangas out there =_= Still, the art is gorgeous and the guys were major bishies<3
There was nothing really special about the characters. Your typical manly Semes and feminine Ukes. Even though they fell in love way too quickly, I guess I can blame it on the short length of chapters. Still, it was a cute fluffly read, but not something I'll be re-reading anytime soon. =)
Characters: 7.8/10 Art: 10/10 Plot: 8/10
The 'freebie' in the Omake made me drool *laugh* Anyway, this is a great series x3 i really recommend it. First of all the art is gorgeous, lovely and clean, not too much tone but enough to make things work well, and the way the characters are drawn is fairly amazing. I must also say i appreciate good looking twin brothers *grin*. The story itself, or rather the stories, are all quite enjoyable. I love the main stories and the characters involved and will be reading the related series immediately :3
Mediocre Story; Beautiful Art
The full-page end piece illustration made me wish the story was about the twins in love!
Sweet and light. The 'kitten' ukes were cute, cute, cute. None of the four main characters really left a permanent ink mark on my brain though. I mas mildly annoyed with Ren's story because it started to offer more than lightness and simple conflict like Rin's coupling. It touched on a serious issue (the debilitating fear Ren's potential uke had of men) was introduced and then dismissed easily with a miracle cure. I'm good with silly. I'm good with serious. I'm even happier with a balanced harmony of both. But offer incomplete versions of both at once? Gah!
The Gothic Angel one shot had it right for just focusing on one ephemeral subject: Clothing. There was no promise of character depth. It was just a sweet, 'aww' for the story and a 'WOAH!' for the beautiful fashion plates.
I really enjoyed this series. I never knew it was a prequel to Heart strings...so I ended up reading this second. Well either way I enjoyed it.So romantic, sweet. Akria's art is so beautiful...one of the few mangaka who makes her characters manly and beautiful! Awsome story and lovely artwork.

Cute manga. The plot is average; uke goes broke, seme invites him to stay at his place (as long as the uke can clean the house and stuff as pay), uke falls in love with him, seme secretly falls in love with him too, the seme's brother also wants him
Spoiler (highlight to view)
but in the end the uke goes for the guy he fell in love with in the first place. Happy end.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. The art is wonderful, as everyone has been saying. (It's alot like YAMANE Ayano's style.)
Overall, this is a cute and sweet manga and worth reading.

The art is beautiful, the story is average, though twins are always a nice touch.
The two stories about the twins were the best, the two one shots were so-so, thought the outfits in the last one looked like a lot of fun to draw.
Worth it for the art, and the story isn't that bad, just... not that good either.
Good art.. but...
I agree that the art's great... the twins look fantastic and their ukes look nice too.. but the story's mediocre and rather predictable.. the only saving grace is truly the artwork... it'll do better with more of a plot and more interesting conflicts to make up a good character development for ren...
the idea was good, but the things they do are way too sweet.. kind of embarrassing. So, I stopped reading,... ah! I just couldn't continue
The plot is nothing special but the art makes up for it . And I like Ren;s personality <3
