Cringy and the attempt at proving humans "kind" is unrealistic

Art is great (IMO) And the story wasn't confusing.

"Humans are kind" is a pretty much main point they're trying to prove throughout the manga but it's terribly cringy and unrealistic. Another problem is how everyone is too trusting, someone says something and they believe what they hear, without using their own brain.

Kind of disappointing

It wasn't really one huge issue, just a bunch of little ones. So it starts out with this somewhat interesting premise and a couple of mildly interesting main characters. A couple volumes later those characters get developed a little more but somehow get less interesting.

The one good thing this has going for it is the art. It looks really good albeit similar to other great artists. Anyways, it was probably the art that kept me reading until the ending, which, despite what everyone else says, was actually pretty decent. You can't really say it was rushed since they had been building towards it.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
There's a big coup d'etat where all the important characters gather together to be kind of in danger, but it all gets resolved pretty quickly and they go on to business as usual

The main problem is it's boring. The characters and premise stop being novel after about 1 volume and once you realize that it's not going to get any better it loses it's charm entirely.

5/10 - Characters and story. They're average at best, but the art elevates it to a 7/10, unless you're really bored and have a few hours to spare you can skip it.

Inconsistent, Corny, and Shallow... not to mention terrible ending

The first chapter of the manga gave me quite a bit of hope in seeing a funny story.

But as the manga progressed, the author just kept contradicting his own words over and over again. The animal characters have little difference from humans--they even have freaking high schools and wear human clothing... That's a total loop hole right there when the premise of the whole tale is about how the animals hate clothing and human behavior....

And the characters are just thrown together for plot device, and none of them are truly fleshed out. Their only moments of character "growth" are cheesy lines said when cool panel entrances.

The way that the author presented the whole thing made it unlikely that he was shooting for irony. It was done in all seriousness without any consideration.

I don't think the author used a lot of brain or time on planning this story out.

Furthermore, the ending sucked. It really did. I won't give spoilers, but it was the last straw for me.

overall: 2/10

art - 10/10
character growth - 3/10
plot - 4/10
theme - 1/10 (there was an attempt... but a very cliched attempt)
narration - 1/10 (so many inconsistencies overlooked by the author...)

BUT, I really liked the main character. He was relatable (not the masturbation part but y'know what i mean) and not grossly heroic. An relatable anti-hero.

Pretty good

I really enjoyed the story and every characters.
There is some flaw, especially concerning the animal world, animals powers or some relationship.
- Shik-Nam sister and the eagle (or more like a vulture in his animal form) seems really forced (I hate that in mangas when every girls/guy must have a lover which happen to be one of another side character...)
- Some fucking useless Deus-Ex Machinae (like Sunmi or the healing power of the king).
- Globally the whole animal world... Too much human-like for starter. And goes pretty much opposed to what Yegrinna and Shuroop says. They wear clothes, they are always in human form, a school system with even Jjang, there is hate, angst, betray...
- Shik-nam school... Most of the manga never go there while it's probably where he spend most of his time, we don't see him study at all except one or two time, all the people in school are just filler... Seriously his school should have needed more attention...

So yeah I just said what I didn't really liked but it don't change the fact that I really enjoyed this manwha in is whole.

Its so funny! I love the protagonist's personality! Never read a manga where the main character gets off with maths! Lol! The story it self started off okay however near the end chapters, I got so lost and it became boring. Other than this, the art was gorgeous and the only reason why I kept reading.

The premise was good, and the art was great, but the ending was utterly terrible. The last five chapters made no sense whatsoever, and just opened plot holes everywhere. Would be an 8 if it had a good ending, but as it is, I'd give it a 6.

My main problem with most manhwa is the "all looks, almost no content" formulae. It's not that far from the cultural aspects of mass social media that gave us boy bands and the such.

A lot of people really like series and settings where everyone looks like they came out of a magazine cover - looking pristine and fit, but strangely acting dumb and oblivious açç the while, in the process. If you are one of those people that really love to see gorgeously drawn boys and girls, and don't mind the absence of serious paternal figures or even characters with responsibilities (outside of the cliched "no money to pay the bills" 1st world below-mid class problem)... then maybe this manhwa is for you.

Really, the plot and development is just terrible. For example, the title character (Yegrinna) seems, at least at first, completely oblivious to some human customs like going to school or even dressing up... BUT then every animal that appears seems suspiciously fashion conscious, and the animal kingdoms flashbacks contradict everything that had been built up to that point regarding to backstory. The fights are boring, the emotional moments are weak and unnatural, and... Well, the art is good.

... That's all. The art is good. Read for the art.
Or not.

Loved the manhwa until it got to the end. Gave it a 9, but now an 8. I just feel as if the ending wasn't as well thought out. There are still lots of things to be answered and a follow-up on previous characters. But overall, it was definitely worth my time.

Irony

I wonder if it was intended but there is some "Animal Farm" reference here
the animals complain about humans yet they are doing the same wrongs
is it intended as Irony or do they see themselves as gods that can judge humans harshly?
other than this the princess char was a nice change but the main is too much a jerk for anyone to empathies with even you were a nerd like him

There's still only 10 chapters out.. but I'm already a little disappointed with the lack of character development. For 10 chapter's they haven't really changed, and the main character is still a jerk. Hopefully we will start to see some changes in all of them, because I'm just seeing the same conversations repeated over and over..
