Description
Hachimitsu Academy, known for its strict academic standards and even stricter school code, is making a giant change this year. In the first time in school history, they are allowing boys to be admitted.

As Fujino Kiyoshi starts his first day at Hachimitsu Academy he is shocked to find out that there are only four other guys in the entire school, making the ratio of girls to boys 200:1. And to their dismay, not one of the thousand girls will talk to them or even acknowledge them. But Kiyoshi and the guys are about to find out about the shadow student council that has been threatening the female students about interacting with male students.

First of all the art of this manga is superb. I'm not just talking about the quality of character designs but also the usage of reaction faces and paneling etc... and its just perfect.

The story is unbelievable - you know how school council holds such power... - but its the perfect stage for characters to shine, and boy do they shine! Its a really good manga and I can recommend it without any doubt.

Pretty humorous, great art, sexy domineering ladies, milquetoast but laddish guys, tons of reaction faces, and all in all worth a read.

Just a quick note in regards to some of the ratings here.
If you scroll down you'll see some people here have rated the story a 1, because... wait for it, "this can't make a good story like Bleach, Naruto".
So if Naruto and Bleach are what spring to mind when meritorious and accomplished vade mecum are discussed, or you're under 16, or a girl, this may not be the tale for you.

The way the main character describes his emoticon, and all the situation, he make it so serious that make me laugh my ass off. This is definitely a Must-read for all of you guys that's tired out from normal Ecchi manga.
10/10 for me smile.

for some reason the males remind me of the special zombies from left 4 dead.

it's not super cliche as i expected it to be. the guys get themselves into funny situations, and the characters themselves are funny. i like the art, it's very different from what i usually see. the best thing are the faces they make when something goes wrong.

I thought it was a yaoi manga when I first looked at the cover, and was reluctant to read it. But, thanks God, my curiosity overcame my fear.

The story is about 5 young men in their puberty who managed to get into a school whose students are almost all girls. They tried to take the advantage of their situation but failed a big time and were sent to a detention center which looks totally like a prison for one full month.
Really funny, with a scent of romance to top it off ^^

Sick,ugly and disgusting faces, but funy as hell. As somebody mentonied they look like zombies from left 4 dead OR characters from some gore manga , converted to verry good and interesting story.

Sure, this manga may be problematic in its attitude towards women and gender roles. But that is a systemic problem with manga and Japan in general, not specific to this one manga. Moreover these critiques fail to see how well executed the humor in this manga is. Simply dismissing it as ecchi doesn't acknowledge how good the artist is at physical humor and direction. The plan to escape the school was meticulously built up and well thought out in how it would affect the characters while still being hilarious. The art is exceptional not simply because the character designs are more detailed than most manga but because the mangaka is great to drawing motion and dramatic shots.

The comparison from Prison School to abu ghraib are unfair. The male students could leave if they agree to withdraw from the school. The only reason they are staying is because they want to stay to meet girls. I agree that this situation would not be funny if flipped but that's just indicative of gender norms everywhere. The manga is only getting criticized because its gender norms are more obvious because it has more fanservice. You can appreciate a work of art despite the flawed assumptions of its creator. Instead, read this manga for what it is, a well executed school ecchi manga that has great physical humor and art. Its better than 90% of manga out there.

I like this manga very much ,why does it take so long to translate ....

I like the characters and the story ,very well made .
Main of a manga is to make you laugh,is bad to how sexy girls in it .

This manga is extremely funny. I haven't laughed like this for a while. There are many cliche slapstick comedy moments in this manga but the author executes it perfectly. The recent chapters 15 and 16 were by far the funniest. The plot has been solid so far however, I hope the the author doesn't change the original plot because it doesn't seem like the manga can keep up with just the plot alone.

Overall I give this manga a 8.5/10 for now because of the hilarious comedy.
