I dont think goong stiry line should be dragged out, dont get me wrong i want to keep reading the series but i also want to know wether its going to work out, i dont want to wait ages for the next update i'm getting so bored that i started my own..... i mean come on goong is a life line for my boredome

Why is the manga writer dragging this story out?....Just end it already before the whole thing is ruined. Goong is one of those great romance stories that starts off great and then it becomes to popular... When I say to popular I mean to the point where it makes so much money that the manga artist refuses to end it properly.
Goong at the most should have been a 16 book series. Now it's turned into a never ending series that's becoming weak. I shudder at how this manga series will end in the future. |

I picked up this series a couple of months ago and started reading it, I've read alot of similiar series with a sadist guy that can't express his feelings gets a masochist girl who falls in love with the guy even tho he treats her like crap, but in all the other series with these elements that I've read the guy has still had some kind of feature that's made me hate him less than the guy in this one, I read up to like chapter 50 or so in one go and then I dropped this series, seriously I've failed to yet find main characters that are as annoying as this boy and girl, and I've read about 300 series in total.
If you want a good piece of advice...
If you're looking for a good series then this isn't for you, this series is so overrated, I fail to see the entertainment in a series that has a guy just completely hurting a girl so bad over and over again.
There are alot of series that are like this but in every one I've read the main guy has at least had one element of humanity inside, this guy just doesn't seem to have one ounce of heart inside, these kind of sadist relationships are usually fun to read because of the way the main guy acts when he's head over heels in some girl, but this relationship is just awful, I fail to express it with words. |

At da beginning dis mannwha was ok. But like afta some time it got soo damn addictive. I m in da middle of examz but all i can fink bot is Shin and Chae. Yea it is lame how they r confused about their feelings for so long, but still when they are like together like in da good moments talking to eachother, hugging, running away from da palace, all that its soo good. I cannot wait till chapter 118 comes out. Every chapter ends with something bad most of the time, and I just cant wait to go to the next chapter to see how it worked out. I cant stop thinking about Shin and Chae, godd, possibly going to ruin my exam results cos of this manwha. If your like one of those people, that gets really sad if the manwha has sad moments and stuff then dont read this but faaa dis manwha i just cant explain it so good. I really really hope that it will have a happy ending. At the moment its so sad, and it will probably be sad for a long time. M so damn depressed rite now godd!!

The art work is beautifully done. The story however, is lacking. It seems to be dragging on forever. They do, they don't. Jeeze... figure it out already.

i feel that thisone of the best manwhas ever. it may drag on a little too long but thats what i love about it i think that if it were too end i would be sad. and i also like too write and understand thaat an author must publish there story the way they want if the story doesnt feel right when they finish it because fans want it to be over they are terribly taunted. in short, the author has to write what she feels is right and not what the critics wanna see. if you like it fantastic. if you dont too bad.

If you want an insufferable twit as a heroine then this is the manwha for you. These characters have to some of the most frustrating characters ever. Perhaphs only second in all around dumbness to Romeo and Juliet. :/ The story starts okay but becomes so repetitive and you want to slap the collective bunch.
You're much better off watching the drama. It's shorter and the potrayal of CG makes her more likable (or for a while.)

Actually you know if you want to know how not to make a relationship/marriage work this is for you.  Adding in 3rd parties, not listening to your spouse, being dumb overall and lack of communicaton.

| The storyline at first showed great promise. However, once the author starts to delve into politics, everything goes downhill from there. The art work is decent- nothing extraordinary. Also, the comical aspects of the story is mediocre and a bit obnoxious. Do yourself a favor, and just read the first 10 volumes or so, and come up with your own ending. |

| Well, I must say I love the art work and I did enjoy the begining of the series. As some have said, it's very repetitive, a lot of crying, and well, conflict after conflict. It sort of reminds me of those tv hospital dramas where one nothing good can ever happen. literally. the minute there's a step foward, it takes about 4 back. I liked the comical/stupidity and other angles of the heroine but, to be honest, she's too much of a push over. It's disapointing, seems like there's definetely going to be a sorrowful ending. As cowslaves said, read up t o a certain point and imagine a happy ending. :/ |
