Description
Chi is a mischievous newborn kitten who, while on a leisurely stroll with her family, finds herself lost. Separated from the warmth and protection of her mother, feels distraught. Overcome with loneliness she breaks into tears in a large urban park meadow., when she is suddenly rescued by a young boy named Yohei and his mother. The kitty is then quickly and quietly whisked away into the warm and inviting Yamada family apartment...where pets are strictly not permitted.

I don't even like cats, and I adore this manga. It's so cute and heartwarming. The family who takes care of the cat are too sweet and funny.

You think you wouldn't be able to read 90+ (very short) chapters about a cat and its family, but you can! And you'll enjoy every minute.

If you want a cute, sweet, and light story to pass the time, read this!

Seriously. This manga takes that giddy happiness of pure joy and somehow manages to catch it on paper for all to share. I dare anyone on the planet to read this manga and not smile at least once. Hell, I dare you to read it and not smile the entire time! This is a true classic. If you aren't already reading it, you should be. Stop what you're doing right now and go get it.

If you are a cat-lover or an animal-lover in general, then this manga is a must read!
It's also very interesting in a drama, comedy and slice-of-life aspect; the only difference from the norm being that it's written according to the perspective of one cute little kitten.

The art is nice, clean and simple. The characters are realistic but not without charm; the family that keeps Chii is almost as adorable as their cat!

No one with half a heart could find it in themselves to dislike this manga.

I am a critic, but this is definitely extremely cute, and extremely funny.....even though it's a kittens life in an evryday household..... it actually has some plot and character development

the art is good too....
This is must read for all ages...... it's one of the rare gems that doesnt use the subjects which should be restricted to different age maturity groups...yet creates something intriguing and enjoyable for all

I doubt their is a crowd type that would not like this.......yes even the extreme emo might lighten up with this

Well, needless to say that as a cat lover, I love this manga! Everything Chii does I can relate to what my cat does. Chii's inner thoughts are what I always translate for my cat.
Aside from my cat loving rants, the art work is adorable and the plot line is cute enough to make even the most stoic of people smile. I highly recommend Chii's Sweet Home.

the characters are lovely, specially chii! a light series, easy to read, to follow... makes you feel good!
