Description
This story takes place during the civil war in Japan. There is a mysterious boy with a short horn on his forehead. His life turns upside down after he saves a wanted female ninja, who then tells him that she's his servant and he an emperor!
Soon a few more girls appear in his life and the adventure begins. What will happen to him and what kind of weird and wonderful stories lie in front of the small group is for you to find out.

this one is pretty original when it comes to the harem genre, the art is excellent its funny and all the females look fine the only thing that bothered me in the start was that ninja that is supposed to be a guy but looks exactly like a girl i thought it was unnecessary should have just kept him as a female i mean he looks like one, anyway this is a pretty good read try it you might like it.

Not the most original of concepts but harem manga tend to be that way. The male protagonist is your standard wimp that grows stronger but is still a wimp in the end. Every girl falls for him but he runs away.
Spoiler (highlight to view) One thing is certain though. The way he is wooing other women, he'll have a harem from Hokkaido to Okinawa ready to cut his balls off for leading them on. Hell, if the sixth volume was any indication, he'll likely have some European army gunning for him to boot. If this happens, then the story will actually become quite interesting.
This isn't a bad series to start a person off with actually. It is a decent representation of the genre and it is pretty much one volume per story arc.
I just hope Del Rey won't try to water down the releases. They aren't as shitty as Viz or CMX is with their censorship but I'm always uncomfortable seeing companies licensing series that rely heavily on fanservice. From what I've heard, they've learned their lesson after the Negima and Air Gear fiascos but publishers always seem tempted to try to sneak in a censored dialogue or panel.

This is good. I saw the gender bender genre, and i was really wondering if i should read it (i hate gender bender) luckily though, only a side character cross dresses, everyone else is normal.
This is a reallllly great manga and you should read it. The only thing i dont like about it is that he doesnt really choose who he like or who he is gonna marry.

This manga is fairly entertaining but doesn't really stand out from the other harem series. The main character is the typical weakling that slowly becomes a strong king. Even after 20 chapters I can already tell that the story will be a long series of marriage attempts punctuated by enemy encounters.
The story would be a lot more interesting if they focused more on battle strategies, like gathering intelligence and attacking enemy forts; something that gives a sense of progress instead of repetition.

Good manga with very nice art. There are some somethings I have to comment on though.
First of, I believe the gender bender is completely unnecessary. The "gold digger" could've easily been female. That would've made more sense actually.
While I thought the plot was good in the beginning with different things happening (I still think it's good), I kind of see where this is going, with the protagonist moving from princess to princess. I am disappointed by the inevitable repetition but I hope the mangaka can at least make it interesting.
Overall I like it because the art is superb.

Rappi Rangai is quite a good manga, in terms of originality in the plot and the characters.
The manga does a great job balancing humor and development. On one hand, the characters would find themselves in awkward situations, bemusing for the readers. But on the other hand, it can become quite serious and dramatic, including some good fighting scenes and story and character development.
For a manga that is a mixture of action, comedy and harem, it's not that bad.

What happend a sudden end to a great and kinda orginal manga not quite the shock from B-Reaction and Mx0 but still a shocker (to me anyway)

| I really like the characters and for a semi-harem manga the main character isn't completely detestable. Funny plot devices and (fairly) believable story telling makes this a good manga. |

wow, funny. funnier than i expected, and pretty damn good in general.
i would say pretty unique as far as harems go, there is actually some semblance of a plot (yeah you heard right, there is actually a purpose to it!)
read it, its pretty good

only read the 1st vol ch1-5, and its Interesting and hilarious at the same time.Not just your typical harem style manga where the main guy is a male (of course) surrounded by female. There a twist to this harem manga, and that is there a cross dresser in the group, but can you guess what gender that cross dresser is?
