Description
Doraemon, a cat shaped robot which came from the 22nd century in the future, goes back in time in order to help Nobita, a below average lazy kid, to make his life less miserable and improve his descendent's life. With many of Doreamon's gadgets from the future, Nobita's life will never be the same.

Doraemon was awarded the first Shogakukan Manga Award for children's manga in 1982, and the first Osamu Tezuka Culture Award in 1997.

First manga i ever read and one of the best. A manga that can still make me laugh after 10 year reading it . One of the greatest manga ever make , a masterpiece that will last thought generation

10 isn't enough. I'd give this series much more than that. Doraemon is simply amazing. Everyone, from a child to an adult, can enjoy this series. Doraemon and his friends stay as my all time favorite characters forever. No matter what manga I read in the future, this position won't change.

My childhood. I was practically raised by this manga due to the fact my parents were often busy. I don't think I turned out too badly nowaday. Definitely one of the best children manga out there. Wonder if I should have this educated my children too. hmm.. lol. *love* Doraemon.

Anyone, please...please help me come back to the past...when I was 10 or more...watching Doraemon every Friday...this is one of the most beautiful moments of my life...thanks God 3F to enrich my childhood...

this is one of my favorites
making me laugh but
then again I am shocked
that the mangaka died
I don't know if they somehow
find a way to continue this
manga the humor and crazyness!

This was my 2nd manga. Of course, at the time, I didn't know what manga was. I remember looking forward to it but too bad the mangaka died. It's imaginative and a good childhood read. I gave it a 10 because I did enjoy it.

I remember reading this a long, looooong time ago. I always love finding out what strange & new inventions Doraemon pulls out of his pocket. Even long after the story was over, I find myself imagining what it would be like if we had the things Doraemon had. This manga doesn't stop telling its story even after you put it down. (Oh, if I could only get my hands on that 'anywhere door'! Imagine all the free, instant vacations I could have!)

Not just a manga, but a legend. Almost everyone I know doesn't read manga, but every kid grows up with Doraemon. I read it when I was 5 or 6, and after more than 15 years I still love it. My first books got old with time (& many got lost), so I bought them again when they were rereleased.

The first manga that I read and because of it I started to read manga. I've reread it for more that 10 years since I bought the 1st volume and I still not bored of it. My personal favorite.

This is my first manga, and the one that I will eternally remember. Highly imaginative and highly educational with real fun (I could still sit down and re-read all 45 volumes all day)

It isn't flawless, actually, but the greatness really outshines the flaws. It's the best manga I've ever read, a manga that deserves a "legendary" status
