Description
Akira Togawa is deeply, incredibly, head-over-heels for his step-brother Satoru, but it’s a secret he keeps only to himself! One morning, a cameraman named Kaoru Nakahara appears, and Akira starts to get the feeling that this guy’s picked up on his hidden affections for Satoru! I was a disappointed with the second volume. They tried to make it angsty, but it failed they tried way too hard on that aspect.
I enjoyed the first volume it was fun to read yes it's clique, but I still found it cute. I personally own the first volume, but I will not buy the second one. Also in the second volume I have no idea why Nakahara left Akira and Akira had to go find him himself that left me a little baffled. |

Ugh, I agree with the others that said this story is a disappointment. It started off being really cute with a lot of potential (and I actually quite liked the art) and what's most frustrating is that the last chapter just completely falls apart. It's not that it has a particularly unhappy ending. It's just that it feels completely pointless and left me feeling dissatisfied with the whole thing.
I'll give it a 6 because if you throw out the last chapter, you have a pretty sweet love story. The last one really ruins it though.

The beginning was really good and I liked it a lot but by ch. 8 it started to go down hill. The ending to me was EXTREMELY disappointing. I hated how Nakahara acts and it really annoys me.

I really don't like when stories end badly, so if you don't like those endings where there is no resolve then I would say don't read this one. I am wishing I didn't waste my time.
It's like the author wrote one cliche' after another and then at the end decided they wanted to change it up but didn't know how.

I don't like incest, even in manga. But I don't think stepsiblings dating is incest at all. I might have changed my mind a bit after reading this manga. The stepbrothers' relationship and dynamic is exactly like that in bl incest manga. It doesn't help that they look almost exactly the same, other than their eye color. But that's just a little peeve of mine. Some people might actually like the faux-incest thing.
Now to the actual manga. It's enjoyable. Don't let the spectacularly ugly cover art fool you; the art in here is pretty nice. That said, it isn't at all pretty. The characters look normal, most of the time not even attractive, nowhere near the impossibly beautiful figures that grace the pages of most shounen-ai. They act relatively normal, too.
The story is kind of cute, but happily plays every yaoi cliché character you know of more or less straight. You've got the aloof oniisan type, the pretty female rival, the crossdressing shota, the dirty-minded seme. Together with the tsundere uke they make what the June back cover sells as a "love pentagon", but said geometric figure isn't nearly as interesting as it could be. It's pretty obvious who everyone's going to end up with from the beginning, and when the tsundere uke finally does give in to his seme, you get what I consider the most inexplicably gross censored sex scene I've ever come across. Enjoy.
