Hey hey, this is not too bad

Haha this was one very contradicting read. The first half of the manga is sort of meh, a mixture of stuff from mediocre to typical to creepy, respectively. That one-shot about the dentist sure is disturbing in a sense, though I don't want to dwell on it too much.

The later half, however is much superior in many aspects.
The first story (or 4th overall) is ridiculously hilarious, silly and surprisingly endearing. I have not very often come across good stories related to businessmen and offices, so that was a refreshing surprise indeed.
The story after it is also nice; it's funny and wittily unexpected as well.
The last story of the manga is really good, with its unorthodox approach on the theme and subject. I especially love the mangaka's take on Japanese historical era changes and the perspectives regarding society during the time period. That I thought was a very nice touch.

Overall, I have to say this manga is way better than what I had anticipated.

Well, I didn't like the first story as both characters are completely shallow and the relationship just seems like it would end at any moment. Despite being the title story, this one just bored me to death. I'm glad it was only one chapter as I don't think I would've carried on reading if it were longer.

Though having said all that about the first chapter, there was another that I disliked even more. Of course I'm referring to the one where the seme threatens to cheat on his lover just to get sex... what a lovely boyfriend, ne? Then again, the lover is also a jerk as he did ignore him for 3 months but I put that down to him being an idiot, more than him being inconsiderate. And either way, that's still no excuse for cheating (or pretending to at least). To be honest, I didn't even understand why they didn't see each other during those 3 months. I know the uke didn't contact him because of work (and also, as previously mentioned, he's an idiot) but why didn't the seme contact him? If he had actually spoken to the uke about his feelings and made a little effort, then there would've been no need to cheat (or pretend to? - I'm not entirely sure how far the seme actually went with that woman - I think just that kiss to make the uke jealous, but I dunno...)

But, like most other reviewers have mentioned, I did like the stories about the tattooist and the split-personality concierge (that one was definitely the funniest ^_^ I especially liked the seme's reaction at the end, lol).

The childhood friends working together was also quite nice, though pretty inconclusive. And unlike some, I sort of liked the dentist story. I actually would've preferred it to be longer.

Anyway, I was going to rate this 5/10, but as I especially loved the concierge I'm going to bump it up to a 7 for that story alone.

I liked the one with the tattoo artist, and the one with the dual personality concierge. So funny, and kinda sexy that one. I also liked the main one. However, the one with the masochistic dentist was a little... weird for me. Not my thing. It was cute that the mangaka brought the characters together at the end. What a cute extra. =)

Found this enjoyable and entertaining at times, i also like how sometimes the feelings of those involved are kept ambiguous and hidden from their significant others. It gave the stories a nice tone ^^ i also quite liked the way its drawn, it has a certain edge of realism to it at times. I especially liked the hotel story (split personality concierge was hilarious) and the tattooist story (i liked the ending).

I especially liked the second story, Lovely Stubborness, and the second to last one, Tatoo.

In Lovely Stubborness, the character's coworker-not sister-is the one advising him.

Twisted love.

I found this book of short stories very enjoyable - an extremely pleasant surprise, since I purchased it in a bulk lot of other books and read it "blind", not having prior information about the author or the manga. Each twisted little tale of "love" (or not) was superbly told and had me in giggles throughout.
Probably best suited for mature readers who enjoy their comedy Black!

BTW, that second story was about an odd relationship where one clueless partner thinks it's perfectly normal not to see each other for three months at a time, consults his partner's ex girlfriend for advice, and freaks out over kissing - as you see, black comedy.

i do not get the second story, what in the world is he doing dating the same guy that was dating his sister in the past? and i they are dating why havent they seen eachother in 3 months? and the thing that confuses me the most was the sister butting in and conspiring with kazusa, did kazusa sleep with that girl or not? i wasnt sure about that. plus, why would you want to be with someone that tells you, that you need to watch them every second so that theyw ont cheat on you. what is he a child?? why would u be with someone that threatens to cheat on u? and why would kazusa be with someone that ignores him for 3 monthsconfused this story just confused me...
