Important Issues; Wonderful Stories by MightyMaeve on November 15th, 2009, 5:05am

Chapter 1 through 3:
This story focuses on the theme of the equivalence of love regardless of the variations of situation. "A relationship that is despised by others" and "A relationship that is blessed by others": although they seem different, the love involved is the same.
The second chapter is from the sister's perspective. (What an awesome nee-chan!)
This story manages to moralize beautifully, without being dogmatic. It offers a balanced perspective (Like understanding a mother's frustration and poor choices, but the need for a child to remain with the mother, unlike society's view of removing and judging quickly and harshly.) The innocence and purity of a child's love verses society's judgement is also alluded to.

Chapter 4:
This one seems incomplete...the trauma of the past has no real resolution. And the seme/saviour didn't seem like he truly deeply loved him; he was too focused on wanting him to play volleyball again...

Chapter 5 and 6:
Again, Fuwa-sensei offers a strong and likeable female in a yaoi story. The organizer of a school play gives the push the young boys need to jump start their relationship. This story also takes on a moral issue in society: the complicated, all encompassing definition of family.

sweet and more by silenzionero on August 30th, 2009, 6:21am

I like how Fuwa Shinri deals with important arguments without weigh down the stories. Some are sweet but at the same time realistic (it's the first time I read a story about rape without the yaoi rule: "to recover from rape you have to do sex now!"
It's not the best manga I read by Shinri but I think it's worth the reading.
