This was the first manga I ever bought the hard copy of, it was also the first manga I ever read. Maybe because of that, but I love the first volume. I have, subsequently, read the following two volumes, and was disappointed. The story lacks any feeling of premeditation; it feels as though the mangaka suddenly realised she had lots of loose ends and needed to tie them up. It was really too short for what the mangaka was trying to convery, and as such, shouldn't have been attempted. Superficially, this is okay, and I like the art and costume designs, but it lacks any real character development for the main love interest and skirts over a plot that should have been deeper. Read the first volume for the art if nothing else.
the art work was beautiful and the storyline was good and mysterious. I also thought it was cool how Courtney Love made the story line like a metaphor for her life.
I can't believe Courtney Love is the author. When I found out she was the one who wrote it I thought it's going to be lame and crappy considering how messed up she is but it's actually pretty good and i love the clothes style, the gothic style. The storyline was pretty good a little confusing but it was still enjoyable.
I really don't see what the huge fuss about this manga is. Sure its good, but tis nothing over the top. I don't know why people think its so great, that some speical edition is comming out.
when I first read that it was from Courtney Love, I was thinking it was going to be a piece of crap. But I gave it a chance and I really liked it. Wow something Courtney Love actually did that was good!! Cause we all know that her music sucked!
This series is rather good...the art is good (not the greatest i've seen) but worthy... The plot is good to and has a plethera of characters...It's not just one of those random shojou series where it's all guys that love the main girl and there are no other main women characters...so that's good... I fell it's worthy of a 9
