Gorgeous! Loved it!
Rating: 10.0 / 10.0

Overall, it was absolutely lovely! It has a very extravagant art style with perpetual wind blowing long and flowing hair and clothes, as well as gorgeous colours. The story was a little cliched and could have been deeper, but I don't mind at all because the whole thing read like an old Chinese poem, so I felt the cliches kind of worked for it.

I love the personalities of the main characters. I thought they complimented each other well. There's the self-righteous hero who lives by his honour but hurts himself by his honour as well, not allowing his feelings to get in the way of duty until ultimately they do just that and he hurts all those around him because he hid his feelings from them. And there's the egoistic and prideful heroine who treats everything as negotiations until she finally opens herself up and begins true interpersonal relationships with those around her.

The only gripe I could have is that sometimes it was a little hard to follow, but going back to the Chinese poetry angle allows me to forgive the story for that.

The art is so beautiful <3 I recommend reading it just to enjoy the art.
It has a bittersweet ending, it feels unfinished because the feelings are just not there for the main characters.
The names confuse me so much, but that's probably just me XD
