Description
From Tokyopop:
Guilt-Na-Zan is a vampire aristocrat who was sealed into a cross by Kyouji's ancestor more than 100 years ago. Now Kyouji has revived him--although his soul was resurrected into a cute female doll and can only transform into his real figure when he sucks blood from Kyouji's sister Tonae. But when you combine Goth clothes and hot vampires, slowly but surely everyone will start to feel like one big family!
Vampire Doll is a funny, sweet and humorous depiction of the everyday life of a vampire who finds happiness and (platonic) love with the quirky family of the person responsible for his century-long imprisonment. The story is episodic, and the characters are unbelievably sweet and perfectly ready to accept the presence of potentially dangerous supernatural beings in their midst; so if you value realistic human-non human interactions you should give this one a pass. But if you're satisfied with monster-of-the-week vignettes accompanied by heartwarming (albeit unrealistic) character interactions and a good dose of dry humour, this manga is very much recommended.
And really...so many good-looking guys and pretty girls in one story, but no overt romance? I was sold right then and there
After a lively first volume, the author ignores the central and comedy-rich conflict of pompous vampire vs. the idiot who revived him for the most inane of reasons. Nothing fills the comedic vaccum, and soon the series is flowing with sap. A disapointment.
the little stories keep me amused forever! the art is simple amazing in my opinion. there might not be a big plot line yet but i think Guilt na Zan really wants to have his male body back to keep.
It's kinda like a bunch of short stories about the characters, with no main plot (as the others have said). However, it's very funny, and I love it. Vampires + Humor = very happy me ^^
Also, the charaters are very...well defined. I can't find the perfect word to describe it, but that'll have to do for now ^^;
there seems to be no actual plot right now, but the mangaka has really explained the connections between the characters and if she wants to expand, there would be a lot of room, very funny and cute
Oooo! I love this manga and the artwork. There seems to be no actual story plot...at least not that my brain can process...but I still find it humorous and cute ^^
