Description
Socially awkward Aono was perfectly happy working in Quality Control but as fate would have it he's been transferred to the Sales Department?? As if being ridiculed by his co-workers for his nervous stutter isn't bad enough, he's thoroughly mortified when the departmental star Gouzaka overhears him having a breakdown on the roof. But no matter how often he pushes Gouzaka away or how fast Aono runs Gouzaka is always there by his side... Has this timid frog finally found his Prince Charming?

By the end of the manga I was honestly surprised with how much I enjoyed it - a relatively quick read with actual funny moments and likeable characters. Normal people would probably find the main guy too 'girly' or too much of a crybaby, but I admittedly resonate with his personal struggle on a spiritual level and can't help myself sympathising with the character. And the development of the romance doesn't put me off with how ridiculous it is, for once, so there's that too. This was definitely one of the better BL mangas I've run into lately.

At first I thought I wouldn't like it, but I'm glad I finished it; in the end it was a cute and tender romance with quite a few chuckles to be had. The first two chapters are a little weird and painful to read as the uke is so full of self-hatred and experiences his coworkers' behaviour as bullying (I'm putting it like that because even if they aren't very nice, the uke's interpretation tends to be on the harsh side), and the font chosen by the scanlation group doesn't help things either - but! It gets better (the story as well as the font) from chapter 3 onwards, the uke is allowed to develop a little and experiences a turning point that is not wholly dependent on the seme. Not saying that it's a super deep and psychological manga, but it was cute enough and there were glimpses of a quirky unique style that I hope to see more of. The little frog (the uke) is prone to crying, but I didn't think he was girly and he becomes really cute in his own way - not the usual cute, more the Yoshida-type of cute (although, as a side-note, Yoshida is a much cooler, stronger character and one of the most levelheaded and mature ukes you'll find - talking about Aitsu no Daihonmei here). The seme's character is a little flat, as he is mostly prince and defined by being in love with the uke, but he's likeable and cute enough and also does NOT have the stony seme face during the sex scenes (yay!).

So far, there hardly seems to be a panel where Aono isn't teary or bawling. And each chapter reads something like: Aono feels bad/messes up a work project, and Gouzaka helps him/comforts him with random smex thrown in. It'd be nice to know what Gouzaka sees in him...
Anyways, pretty run-of-the-mill plot, read if you like girly or dependent ukes.
