Ashitaka's an out and proud gay man, trawling for booty calls at his favorite gay bar - but only bottoms need apply, because Ashitaka only tops! His first attempt at gay sex three years ago ended painfully and embarrassingly, and he vowed to never yield his ass to another man again - but fate has decided to throw the very man responsible for his 'bottom trauma' back into his life, and the guy's looking for a fresh start.

Very fun so far!
It's freshly scanlated and not finished yet but the chapters that are out so far are very promising. The art fits perfectly, it has the right kind of humor and the characters are just to die for!
Nice. Lot of potential.
It was hilarious, it was comical. The reaction of Ashiataka, our main character is definitely amusing. It revolves around him and his ex boyfriend coming back after 3 years of not seeing each other. And that this ex has given him the "bottom trauma".
I look forward to more chapters and I just hope it'll continue to be as awesome. XD
One of the best yaoi shorts...
...I've ever read. I'm usually not a fan of shorts as they are all pretty much rushed and nonsensical, but this one was an exception. I genuinely laughed at the funny moments and the cute, touching moments were infinitely sweet without being TOO sweet, if you know what I mean. It 100% succeeds at what it is meant to be--hot, sweet, and comical. It never tries too hard to be something beyond that, and I appreciate that. The art is gorgeous, the cherry tomato theme is fcking adorable, and the characters are lovable. What more can you ask for? The only quibble I have is that yeah, I would've liked to see Ashitaka top as well, haha.
I rarely give 7+ ratings, but this one gets a 9 just for being so simply enjoyable.

I don't know how to rate this... except, not very high.
On the one hand, the art was pretty and the story wasn't too bad and I could tell the people apart (always a bonus). The two main people bickered (which normally I really like, but here was just so-so). The dark-haired guy was a badass sometimes, so that was nice. Neither one was the "girl" or the "guy" really, which is always a bonus.
On the other hand, "topping" and "bottoming" don't have to be permanent positions. I don't know why so many people/stories insist they always are. It's stupid to think that someone is naturally one way or the other (of course some people definitely prefer one or the other and may always or mostly have sex in a particular way, but I take issue with the implication - or direct statement - that someone MUST always be one or the other). Also, jumping unconscious people? Bad. Pushing ahead even if the other person is very reluctant? Bad. Lust? Not the same as love. These things aren't awful necessarily, but the author didn't pull them off in a very interesting way. It just gets kind of old, I guess.
It could have been better. The art was very nice, but the story was so...cliche, I guess. I've seen it before a lot, and it didn't even have a really good take on it. I was a bit disappointed, honestly.
NOTE: Gattaca88, I do know that some men prefer one position over another and may always have sex on the 'top' or 'bottom.' Sometimes people (straight, gay, female, male) just have their preferences. As I mentioned above, what I don't like is the implication or statement that it HAS to be one or the other, that it's basically a biological thing, and that topping or bottoming necessarily implies other things about people (like how masculine or feminine or strong or smart they are). Those things are often done in stories, and that gets irritating after the thousandth time I've seen it. But this is just my opinion. You are allowed to have your own.

It was entertaining and I liked the art very much. My one complain is that we don't get to see Ashitaka actually top. Like this is still quite fun but also a little predictable, ah-ah. The sex scenes were indeed hot though.
Love hawt scenes
Honestly, I think the story could've ended with a little more fan-service. Just ONE more scene is all, to sum the story up. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would recommend it for anyone looking for a quick read with an okay story line. It's just really cute. I enjoyed the tough Uke since he doesn't have that cutsy-cutsy aura like most Ukes, but more like an adorable Seme.
Very realistic storyline
I love it and recommend this manga but something I need to get off my chest based on comments below.
To Sofistree, your original comment (before changing it) came off as you saying people don't have "top" and "bottom" positions, well many gay couples in real life do have such preferences. For many gay men in real life, they do have permanent sexual positions especially if they are in a relationship. A lot of the times, they do have specific roles such as "power bottom" "bottom" "top" etc and this is common in the West part of world as well as in Asia.
I know plenty of gay men who have told me this, I have seen gay club flyers where bottoms wear white and tops wear black, blogs where gay men say they are permanent bottoms, etc. It is not people like me insisting this does exist, but actual gay men themselves!! So it is not "stupid"....."bottoms" and "tops" are common words to describe the sexual positions gay men prefer. So Puchitto Hajiketa is in fact very realistic. I just want people to KNOW this does exist and it is not just a made up thing just for yaoi. It happens in real life so please don't be ignorant. It is not meant to be biological and nobody said this is related to masculine or feminine, it's a preference. A person can be power bottom where they always bottom but have control about how they bottom.
I think this was a cute story that showed sexual attraction does not die and it can be rekindled with people you have chemistry with.

I really loved it. It's not a typical story. Rather, I haven't really read a story like this before so I really vote for this. And I'm hoping on seeing it on every bookstore i'll be hunting on. Wish me luck!
Good for the first chapter
I can say that I am looking forward to more chapters. I don't really like the light haired guy cause he's the type of male character I hate but I love Ashitaka and I'd like it if we got to know more about him and his life instead of the story revolving only around his relationship with the light haired dude.
It's so cute and very light. I like their personality and their relationship, the seme is so head over heels at the uke i like that, i just hope that the uke says what he really feels but oh well his actions are saying it all so it's ok. The art is cool.
