The forceful protagonist is a bit cringey

I really like Fujiyama Hyouta's especially because the characters are well fleshed and plausible human beings. But in this one, the pushy seme and the male lead don't really match as a credible couple.
Especially after the pushy seme's abuse, I doubt the ML would have stayed in a relationship with such a guy.
Too bad, the aremt is gorgeous as usual

Hesitant at first, but...

I was hesitant at first, because the art style isn't my favorite and I associate it with outdated yaoi tropes. The story was an awkward start for me--the "forced romance" aspect is something I usually can't tolerate. The art grew on me a bit. And the story grew on me a lot. It is a really refreshing portrayal of two people getting to know each other, slowly coming to love the other more interested person, and opening up a guarded heart, and reevaluating one's identity. The issue of coercion/forced sex (I guess that's rape, isn't it) is addressed and treated respectfully and becomes a point of discussion in their relationship.

But did anyone else feel it ended very suddenly? So suddenly I felt it wasn't finished at all.

An uke that demands his respect and is level headed. A seme that doesn't want to be a rapist, but is persistent enough to be a yaoi man.
What more can a fujoshi ask for?

not every relationship begins with strong mutual love, I am glad I pick this up to read..
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
also It's different from most of the other yaoi mangas out there because there are two semes in this one!

I don't get it though, it says in this page there are realeses till chapter 11 but I couldn't find anywhere beyond ch.8...

For those who read Junjou, this will definitely be an interesting manga.
Even if you didn't like Miyata there, here, you will get to see a different, more private side of him.
To me he came across as pretty sly, scheming, almost rude, as if he was just one step away from trying to destroy the relationships of the protagonists but here you will see that he's just a normal guy.
A guy who's a little bit bitter because he cannot forget his past love, who now is happy with someone else. A guy who meet someone who's neither his type nor sexually compatible (or so he thinks), and yet, that guy enters his life and refuses to leave.

If you read Junjou then read this one too, and if you haven't, then go read it now!
This manga is an interesting read, especially recommended to fans of couples that don't like each other that much at first.
