The story of Mix takes place in the same Meisei Gakuen high school as Touch, only it is set 26 years later. Like Touch, Mix revolves around brothers and baseball.
23 Volumes (Ongoing)

Like other reviewers, I think I preferred several other Adachi series over this one. But Mix does have a charm of its own. It's also frankly remarkable that a mangaka is still writing a monthly series at age 72 (after beginning it at age 61).
Just temper your expectations. In particular, don't go into this series expecting to see the protagonist from Touch again. While you'll see a small number of side characters from that era, the focus of Mix is on the present, and on reliving the glory of reaching the Koushien again. It's not meant to give ample screen time to characters from a series which was already concluded.
I just started reading this ongoing serie recently after re-reading Touch. There are many more characters, with entangled relationships. The plot seems to be too much more complicated and sadly less appealing. Sensei’s humour and art are appreciated but man, it’s a disappointment in comparison with Touch - my so far favorite work of sensei’s.
It’s so nice to meet Harada again, hopefully Tatsuya and Minami in the future 🙂
First thing first, you don't have to be Touch or Miyuki reader to start this manga, but knowing it would bring so many memories.
With character setup back story combined from Miyuki and Touch, two of his manga that brings him his first shogakukan award and launch him to stardom in japan, and considering his age that is nearing 60, i can't help but wondered whether he is making this his final serialization work.
It is a long road to finish as it is a monthly series, but lets hope for his well being.
And also hope that he will show what he has in mind, even if it's only a small bit hint, of how the current Tatsuya and Minami doing in life.
I am big fan of adachi's manga formula having enjoyed most of his other series.
Mix offers more of the same as his other popular baseball manga Touch, H2 and Cross Game.
The other manga were monthly combined with the slower pace of Mix, makes it a little harder to get into.
In terms of Adachi's baseball manga:
H2>Touch>Cross Game>Nine>Mix
