Description
Aflame Inferno is about a self absorbed high schooler, Kang Shichan, that gets caught in the middle of a battle between demons. Injured severely and near death, the demon Inferno merges with the student to save his life. Together they win the battle to discover that they are inescapably joined. The only hope of ever being separate beings is to gather 1,000 Invento Hells and find the right spell of Resurrection. Can Kang Shichan balance hunting down demons with his school work?

You know what? Cheesyhoboe is right, this is a by-the-numbers action shonen involving demons. DO NOT go into Aflame Inferno believing you'll find something that'll blow all other shonen mangas/manhwas away, even all other shonen mangas/manhwas with ecchi. You won't find it.
Having said all that, there's still something about Aflame Inferno that keeps me coming back chapter after chapter. The artwork is good, particularly if you like ecchi, and even if you don't, you'll probably still like it. I don't usually like it, but rather than using the ecchi to humiliate the female characters in some way, (apart from the first chapter) this is more of a case where the main female is drawn in an idealized, provocative way, which I have no problem with.
As for the characters, I don't like the main character--4 volumes in and I can hardly tell you anything about the guy: what he wants out of life, his like/dislikes, nothing. He's more of a collection of accomplishments rather than an actual personality. But even if Kang Shichan is lame, nearly every single character is better, especially the 4 kings of hell. Each one is very different than you expect him/her to be--not quite evil, not quite good, and they all have interesting relationships with one another. So far, it seems like they will be the focus of the series, which is very, very good, except that it makes Kang Shichan sort of extraneous--he's there because he's Inferno's host and is in control of their body, but why not have just made Inferno the lead and forget about him all together?
The romance is pretty good too. Kang Shichan has 3 potential women he could end up with: Of course Chaehee or Gehenna, but also surprisingly Spoiler (highlight to view) Inferno, who was very pretty when she was human. Undoubtedly it'll be either Chaehee or Gehenna, but that last one could be very, very interesting if it comes to pass. All in all, I'd say give this one a shot as it's fun and you'll probably like it.

| This is truly a great piece of work. Im Dal Young comes up with another great series. It really is too bad that Meep scans, the group that was scanlating got shut down. i wonder who's going to take over... |

Another Im Dai Young manga, and a good one. If you've read anything else from him you'll know what to expect here. This manga is a pretty typical high school shounen action series involving demons, who the main character finds himself fusing with, allying with, and fighting against. While it all sounds by-the-numbers (and it is), the world and setting are interesting and fairly fleshed out, the action scenes are smooth and exciting, and all of it is accompanied by the off-beat and slightly deranged tone and characters that can be spotted in any Im Dai Young manhwa... oh, and the ecchi. Don't forget the ecchi. It's an entertaining read.

like the subject, this is a good and interesting manwha, read it, you wont be disappointed. Seriously, the author im dal young is a freaking genius. i have read 4 of his 6 series, and each one of them is a favorite in their genre....
read this, then all of the authors others works, namely unbalance unbalance, and kuro kami. you wont be disappointed

Spoiler (highlight to view) Being the sorta paranoid oversensative person that I am, I find that most of my thought on this series goes towards worrying about how this will end for Chaehee, and if after all the gathering is done they end up using the resurection spell on her...being that she actually died too. suppose the difference being is that Shichan knows what is going on and Chaehee is basically the living dead and clueless
that said, im not really sure whats holding me back from giving this a 10, I'm pretty sure i will eventually give this a 10 but its just too soon to do so i think. it has some interesting character that i definately want to get to know better and also has there seem to be a lot of hidden and hinted at things going on that you will keep you wondering peoples true motives. the style of fighting in this series is seems to remind me of Negima, im pretty sure that it will develop nicely right along side the story. All in all its an interesting world, i hope it stays around for a good long time.

i personally love this series. infact, i've just discovered it today and i couldn't stop myself from finishing the whole series in a matter of hours. the plot is nicely done, full of action with a dash of mystery. the romance needs a bit more color if you ask me but then again, i'm sure Gehenna got that part covered pretty well ; )
i'm hoping to see this manga grow it's reputation into one of those mangas that you will never quite forget
which reminds me to ask, doesn't anyone know when Volume 3 or Chapter 14 comes out? i'm not sure if the publisher/author is still active. i've checked some other sites but so far, they have nothing to reveal...
the two main characters in this story kind of reminds me of Yuki-sama and Tohru from Fruits Basket (which is another one of my all time favorite) although the main character comes off as a little bit too much of a jerk at first (and hopefully that will change over the series!)
all in all, i'd give it 10+ if i can, but since i can't, i'll just give it a 10

i really like this series since its artwork is somewhat similar to UnbalanceXUnbalance and the plot looks promising too
no wonder I liked this its from the same author of UxU, Black God and some other interesting Manwha

So far the serie looks very promising. I usually rank all the series i've read on style, story ect, but as far as the enjoyment of reading this manga goes it's definitely top 10.
Oh, and the art/style is superb and the story has yet to fully reveal itself.
IM Dal Young (Unbalancex2 & Zero) sure doesn't disappoint. It's interesting that all his work looks awesome despite different artists.

Again. The story so far is nothing new. But it's still promising.
I don't really like the main character so far. This time not because he is a loser, but because he seems to be a conceited jerk.
I hope he will change in the light of the events he got involved in.
I already like Gehenna. And not just because she is a babe. 
Spoiler (highlight to view) She killed the girls grandmother she possessed when he set the house in fire. I don't know if she will reflect to this, and if the girl will forgive her if she ever got to know aout it.
It will be interesting to see how the relatinships will work out.
Spoiler (highlight to view) I mean both the male and female lead has two personalities in their body. A human and a demon. Gehenna seems to have taken fancy to Kang, but maybe she had something going on with Inferno in the past.
